  1. Device Passcode "Gracefull" advanced notice.

We have a wide and varying group of users in our organization. Some of these users can be challenged by device passcode changes. It would be a very professional service to provide alerting during these evcents.

  2. Full automatic Intune Exchange Active Sync configuration

    Hello,

My company Exchange ActiveSync configuration uses :
    - user email
    - user password
    - Exchange Activesync server name
    - domain name
    - login name

In order to have a full automatic Exchange ActiveSync configuration, I hope to have the following workflow :
    - to setup the Intune exchange configuration with user variables like for example $SAMAccountname, $password, $email
    - to set the "domain" parameter that is not an available parameter for now !
    - to set other parmeters like server name, ssl.
    - While enrollment, all Exchange configuration can be set automaticaly from a mix of fixed parameters (server…

  3. Missing device enrollemt history

Improvedevice enrollment / introduce Retired category

I miss the possibility to retire a device and to keep it in a special view. In case of compliance requests, it could be possible to find easily all users which used the device before.
And finally if the phone was registered with the serial number and the new user registered it with IMEI, teh retired flag would avoid that the new user fails with the registration. Unfortunately in the moment intune overwrites a device only in the case that it will be registered again with the same identifier used before. intune should check…

  4. Display Inactive and Active device on the Dashboard

I like to be able to see all device on the MDM from the dashboard and listed by last connected to the system. This would give a quick representation of how many devices we have enrolled and how many have not connected in the past 30 days.

  6. local admin has no access to settings Tab

When there is a policy set, which blocks settings tab on a local device, even the local admin is not able to access it.
In schools, pupils and/or teacherd should not have access to the settings tab to prevent wrong settings. For this reason settings tab is blocked generally. BUT, whenever there is a reason to switch settings as a local admin, this is not possible, because also for the local admin settings tab is blocked. This makes it hard to administrate the schools devices. Local admin should really be local admin without any policy set.

  7. give the user of a device the ability to enter a code to selectively wipe company information from their device while they travel

I would like to give the user of a device the ability to enter a code to selectively wipe company information from their device while they travel. People need to enter some countries where company information may compromise their identity and expose them to being declared something they are not. Therefore, there is the need to allow an individual to wipe company data from the device, but allow their personal information and programs to remain. Currently there is no way for a user to enter a PIN and execute a selective wipe of their device. Entering a factory reset is…

  8. Versioning on Configuration Profiles and Policies

When we create a new Configuration Profile I want it to get a version number which is bumped up whenever we edit it. Just like with CI's in ConfigMgr. I also want then the ability to report on this when we sync on the Client so we now which version number the client uses.

  10. Provide EthenetMAC address directly in Intune/MS Graph

EhternetMAC address is avaiable in the Intune Data Warehouse, but it shouldbe available directly in the intune console.

    I originally posted this here:
    https://microsoftintune.uservoice.com/forums/291681-ideas/suggestions/32048932-export-mac-address

But the answer that marked this complete is not really acceptable.

  12. Add GUI for using custom Group Policy XML

When using custom XML to manage group policy through Intune, not all settings are really clear through the XML - add a GUI to make it easier for an admin.

  13. Increase PIN expiration option from 255 to 365 days

Currently, the PIN expiration for iOS and Android can be configured to max. 255 days. My enterprise customers would like to see this increased to max. 365 days.

As of the March 26 updates, after a compliance or configuration policy is applied to an iOS device, users are prompted to set a PIN every 15 minutes. Users are continually prompted until a PIN is set. So, not forcing exactly, but nagging, a lot – is that close?

  15. mobile device fingerprint integration with Active Directory

for corporate users with ADFS and Intune MDM, it would be great if we could move away from users having to regularly (weekly) enter their AD credentials and start using their fingerprint on devices where fingerprint reading is supported.

  16. Option to disable renaming mobile device

Renaming mobile devices is great for user experience, but in some scenarios it will be great that default name should be not allowed for easy recognition from administrator side.

  18. Android: Lock the ability to remove the Android work profile but not Kiosk mode

End users can potentially remove the work profile under Android Enterprise. Is there a current way of keeping the device user associated but locking the ability to remove the work profile. Do not want to use Kiosk mode.

  19. I would like to see containerization feature

so that all things managed by intune come under one umbrella for User friendliness and easy to manged and apply the protection ,better separation of user personal data and corporate data, currently whatever apps, links are install via intune displayed on user screen rather than within one Intune container
