  1. Additional MAM PIN policies

    Provide policy options to:
    * Limit reuse of previous application PINs (e.g., 13 previous PINs)
    * Force PIN change after a defined number of days (e.g., 30)

Provide these options for iOS and Android devices

  2. View all apps assigned to a device group

Currently, there is no easy way to see which apps are assigned to a device group. If I want to get this info, I need to click through each app on my list and check if the device group has been assigned.

  3. Single App Mode for fully managed enrolled devices

We would need the possibility to assign one app as a single app mode on a personalised fully managed enrolled device which restricts the app to be locked on the screen when it is opened, so you can't exit the App without a passcode.

  5. Add App dependencies für macOS Apps/LOBs

Add App dependencies for app deployments of macOS apps/LOBs. Actually there is no option like the app dependencies for WIN32 applications.

  6. Schedule app deployments for iOS and Android

Add an option to assign an Android or iOS app or app update to a group (as required or available) at a set time and date,

Often times we are asked to deploy applications on the weekend or off hours, but this requires an Intune admin being online to manually deploy the app. If when adding an app we could set a time and date which it is either configured as available or pushed to the devices that would be helpful.

  7. Office Insider Channel

When deploying Office from Mobile Apps it would be extremely useful if we could deploy the insider versions so we can assign users to test Windows insider and Office insider

  8. Bring back Command Line arguments "/" and "-"

Microsoft made a change at the start of this year for Intune where the Command Line arguments for the Software Publisher must be made in Name=Value arguments. / and – are no longer accepted, which is why installs are failing for some apps that are assigned through required installs with Windows 7 PCs. The article related to this change was updated on 28 Feb 2017 https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/intune-classic/deploy-use/add-apps. The Escalation Engineer that we were working with mentioned that the documentation change to the article does not clearly reflect the deprecation of those switches, but they are depreciated.

    Because of this deprecation,…

  9. Deploying MSIX app updates via Intune must not kill the running app

    1. You package a line of business application in MSIX format. I use a couple of versions of 7-Zip in my testing.

    2. You deploy the MSIX package via Intune (as a Line of Business app) as a required package to your end users. The app installs fine which is expected.

    3. Now package a new version of the line of business app.

    4. Deploy the package as required to your end users. The app installs fine, but the problem is that it is executed with the flag “ForceAppShutdown” meaning that the application while running is killed without warnings to the end user –…

  10. show all deployments on a group

Please give us a view about all deployment on a Group. That would be helpful when you like to delete a group. Like when you move from testing to Production for all the deployments like police or Apps...
just to be sure you have all moved to Production in Example.
There is no control at the moment, also when you delete the Group there is no message that says "hey you still have deployment xyz on that group"

    thank you

  11. Allow change app category for MSfB Apps in Intune

Allow change app category for MSfB Apps in Intune - so that the IT admin can change the app category that are shown from MSfB. Most apps from MSfB has "Other apps" as a category, and this will be shown in the company portal. So the end-user will get many apps from MSfB in the other apps category insted of where they belongs.

  12. When you import a App from iTunes/GooglePlay/WinPhone Store, import logo, app name, owner

When you import a App from iTunes Store (managed app) or Google Play Store, or Windows Phone Store, it would be nice, if Intune can import the App Logo, the App Name and the App Description and the Owner of the App from the diffrent stores. It would save lots of time by creating an appstore for a customer.

  13. Win32 App Deployment Should Allow for Packages of 20gb

As announced the Win32 app deployment support is currently a max of 8gb. This should be extended to 20gb.

In the 7+ years of my work to deploy apps within our organization few, but important apps do result in 12-18gb of size. This has included most Autodesk applications, SAS for x64 and Adobe Creative Cloud all applications for x64.

  14. Software Publisher tool for Mac OS

Currently it is not possible to publish apps using a Mac OS device because the Software Publishing tool is not compatible with Mac OS (Intune standalone obviously). This is a major blocker in a Mac only environment.

  15. Restrict which apps are synced from MS Store for Education to Intune

We manage Intune device enrolment and app deployment for 80+ schools.

With regards to the MS Store for Education, we wish to allow our teachers and students to purchase apps using their education accounts and be entitled to discounts etc. However, we do not wish to sync all their purchased apps across to Intune.

We want the ability to continue to allow staff and students to purchase apps, but only the apps which the centralised IT team want to deploy to all our all devices to be synchronised across to Intune.
With 5000 staff and not counting the number of…

  16. Able to deploy O365 Pro Plus locally instead of downloading the whole package.

When I was trying to deploy O365 Pro Plus using Office Deployment 2016, it caused the whole package to be upload to InTune storage (approx. 1.5GB for 32 bits only). So if a local user is trying to install O365 Pro Plus from InTune, then he will be using the internet bandwidth to get the installation completed instead of pointing to his local deployment storage to obtain the software. I have tried a few methods and the only one that seems to work is to upload everything to InTune to create the Apps.

  17. Allow Deployment of Apps to Device Groups

It would be useful to be able to deploy certain apps to Company devices only and not to Personal devices - or to have some apps required by Corporate devices, but only available to Personal devices.

The most logical place would be to allow deployment to device groups, but a way to crease a dynamic user group from a device group could also work.

  18. SSO with company portal app on iOS like Android

It can SSO with company portal app on Android. But it could not SSO with company portal on iOS, in this case, it needs Authenticator app. But I wants to use another Authenticator, so I want not to use authenticator app. Please change design company portal on iOS to identity provider like company portal on Android.

  19. be able to uninstall & reinstall an app on remote desktops

When users have issues with an application, one of the requested steps is sometimes to uninstall the application and reinstall it. Please could this be a step that could be done within the portal as we have the install and uninstall actions available as part of the client app creation already ?

This is for all Windows Devices application types (not just LOB/Win32) as it seems to have been asked for mobile devices and not implemented for Windows Devices.

  20. Ability to arrange order that Apps, Configurations and Powershell are run / deployed

Alternatively be able to specify a delay in time on the above mentioned items would also do the trick and may be simpler to manage and implement.

Also the ability to re-run Powershell commands would be a nice touch
