  1. Share application link for line of business apps

Currently if i want to share any application that is being made available for intune MAM (no enrollment) ,users must go managed browser or company portal ,search for the app and install it.
If we can have way to get the application link from the intune portal when we create line of business application ,we can directly share the link to users so they can simply click on the link ,open with managed browser and install it.

This process will avoid the users to go manbro(managed browser) ,search the application (if there are lot of apps available) and install it…

  3. We absolutely need the ability to have "Available for enrolled devices" assigned iOS apps auto update.

We absolutely need the ability to have "Available for enrolled devices" assigned iOS apps auto update. If "Required" iOS apps updated there has to be a way to auto-update "Available" apps even if it requires a prompt that the user needs to acept.

  4. allow users to request an app from Microsoft Store for Business

Microsoft Store for Business Needs to have an ability to allow the users to request an app. I block all apps that are not approved, but how does the Admin know to approve an app if the user can't request it?

  5. option to delete corporate account from all Microsoft apps

Especially during testing, but also when you want to switch between one and other company with different accounts or when you have issues with the user the solution mostly is deleting all the Microsoft Apps on your device including Intune and Authenticator app.

This is a very comprehensive solution and gives issues when user has MFA in Authenticator and personal accounts etc configured in the app.

It would be very helpfull to be able to have a selection box from one app to say: "Remove and clear this specific accounts from all Microsoft apps". In some cases it looks like…

  6. Software Deployed to All Computers group by default

Currently when approving non-Microsoft updates, the All Computers group is populated in the Intune software publisher by default. As this can cause confusion and potentially result in updates accidentally approved to All Computers, please do not populate any groups by default.

  7. Admin Portal UX Enhancements

Option to distinct Application Name and Display name Admin Portal/Company Portal

Applying (enterprise) naming convention on app level causes app names displayed in company portal which aren't user friendly.
As the Admin portal lacks the option to create a (folder(s)/group(s))structure on items level (e.g. apps, policies) we introduced naming convention to keep overview of app landscape (200+ apps).

An extra column is desired to make distinction between name (admin portal) and display name (company portal).

Further sorting on category level will be a great improvement.
The ability to create custom categories, currently limited to default categories provided by Intune.
    The…

  8. Disallow assigning VPP Device Licensing Apps to Dynamic User groups

Currently Intune allows you to assign VPP Device Licensed Apps to a Dynamic User group even though their documentation states this will not work

  9. Client App Installation Status: amalgamate user and device status

Currently the Intune console reports the status of client app installation for device and user separately. This makes the statistics a nonsense. The report can show that, for the same device, the installation failed for "system" and succeeded for user. The client app is either installed on the device or it is not. The device installation status should surely show the number of devices that have successfully installed the app, not the number of separate installation instances by different accounts.

  12. Ability to stop install of 'required' app if iOS incompatible - VPP

Currently, Apps constantly try to install on device's which they aren't compatible on. For example, an app with min iOs Version 10.0 will keep trying to install on a device at v9.3. Or on an old iPad 2, Max v9.x

This is not good when the apps are pushed as 'required' and it is from 'out-of-box'. And if the user does not have or want an Apple ID, this cannot be changed.

If you add an app normally (non-cpp) this is an option, but not an option for VPP apps as far as I can see.

  13. Combine external apps into one, so they can share information

if when adding an app, i.e. Lync, one needs to create 4 versions, one as an External link for iPad, one as an External link for iPhone (so that they appear in the Comp Portal app) then a Managed App for iPhone and a Managed App for iPad so they can be pushed. The same information is entered so could I simply not tick a box to create this as an external app when I was creating a managed app rather than doing it twice? thats a feature request sorry, but the problem is that when editing them there is…

  14. Company Portal - making it more intuitive and user friendly

We have had to shorten the Compliance Grace period from 30 days (default) to 3 days due to a bug it seems where if a user has MS Authenticator app installed and removes Company Portal from device, the user is still able to access O365 resources. This is apparently down to how the auth token is being used in the authenticator app, and the user is able to access resources until the grace period expires. As we have set it to 3 days the experience with users is that their device becomes inactive quicker usually after a weekend or holiday…

  15. When viewing apps in the list, provide enough data to tell them apart

The problem is that when editing apps that are similar, like external links for iPad and iPhone and managed apps, there is no way to tell them appart. For Lync, one needs to create 4 versions, one as an External link for iPad, one as an External link for iPhone (so that they appear in the Comp Portal app) then a Managed App for iPhone and a Managed App for iPad so they can be pushed, they are all named Lync by Microsoft but the screen is missing fields to help distinguish which are managed or external and which are…
