  1. Support for deployment of single .msp file

    I would like support in Intune to update installed MSIs with .msp files.

    I know that you can use deploy Win32 app now and put the .msp file in the <packagename>.intunewin file, but I would like to have the functionality that the classic Intune portal has. To just deploy a single .msp file as an update.

    For example to update Adobe reader now, I have to create a new .intunewin package every time I need to update Adobe Reader. Which creates a lot of extra work.

    Auto update of Adobe Reader is not an option, because not all of our…

  2. Should be possible to remove apps in the app overview if they have been synced from WSFB

    Hi all,

    Its not possible to remove applications in the app overview in Intune, that has been synced from WSFB. Not even if you refund the app in the store, the application is still visible in the app overview.
    I've reported this to the support and they concluded the following "WSFB apps not removed from VPA section of Admin Console, Windows Application was not removed in Volume-Purchased Apps page after it was removed from private store in the Windows Store for Business website

    Thus it will exist and we do not have any method to remove it and this stands…

  3. Allow shared mailbox in app configuration profile for Outlook

    When we create an app configuration profile for Outlook and enable the option for users to add only work or school accounts, they are not allowed to add a shared work mailbox. And when we disable the option they are allowed to add a shared work mailbox but also a personal mailbox (i.e. Gmail). This is clearly not as intended. Make sure that users can add shared work/school mailboxes but not personal mailboxes!

  4. Office 365 Install (Mobile apps) - Enable all options from configuration.xml

    The Intune MDM Mobile Apps Office 365 installer, "Office 365 ProPlus Suite (Windows 10)" lacks features which can be configured with XML.

    With configuration.xml you can specify stuff like:
    * PinIconsToTaskbar - Very usefull
    * Logging - A lot of the installations fail. Would be neat if we could set log level and log path.
    * ForceAppShutdown
    * ForceUpgrade

    Please implement more options with the built in Intune MDM Office 365 client installer.

  5. Auto-update flag for "Available for enrolled devices" assignment

    As of version 1710, newer version of the app was pushed to the user in "Available for enrolled device" assignment for LOB apps.

    Can we have an option within "Available for enrolled devices" to prevent auto-update. We want control over when the new version of the app is pushed to the user.

    Related to case 118031994150036

  6. Enable change/Update the URL of this web-link app

    If we create a web-link app with URL and then assign, install in devices. We are not able to change the URL of this web-link app unless we create a new web-link app with new URL. But can we enable the change or update web-link app URL feature without creating a new one?

  7. Add "Required" assignment option when deploying mobile apps of type "Windows store app"

    At the moment, when assigning a Windows store type application to devices, there is no "Required" option available. It would be great if we could push out store apps automatically, just like one can do with MSI-type applications.

  8. Device Inventory that populates discovered apps should be user controlled

    Discovered Apps remains empty after two days for iOS devices. Help doc says the inventory process that populates this section only runs once every 7 days. This should either be user controllable or run much more often. Thanks

  9. Assign apps to single user/device

    Its a step back for us coming from another MDM solution to not be able to assign apps to a single user or Device, and instead having to make alot of uneccesary New AD Groups just to handle this.

  10. allow apps to be installed without local admin rights

    as an IT Manager, to be able to put approved apps in a portal where users can install them, without having to give them local admin rights, this would save IT personnel alot of time

  11. Use the Managed Google Play iframe functionality

    There are some serious limitations around how Intune integrates with the Managed Google Play store currently. One of these issues is the inability to support LOB apps on COSU devices.

    By using the Managed Google iframe which is designed for EMM consoles to deliver these sorts of features, a lot more functionality would be available to all Android Enrollment types. More info:

  12. Option to deploy Office 365 desktop applications with Intune

    Deploying the click-to-run Office 365 applications via Intune is a pain. Please add predefined deployment packages to the Intune console that just need to be assigned to target users/computers

    Today we released support for assigning Office 365 ProPlus apps to devices that run Windows 10. Does that count as “adding predefined deployment packages”? Or is there something we’re missing here? If you think we covered it, I’ll mark it complete.

  13. Windows Server Feature for Intune Distribution Point

    I would like to see a function in Windows server that allows to enable a Distribution Point for Microsoft Intune, thus facilitating the deployment of OS and applications.

  14. Win32 App Packaging - Allow import & export of Intune config

    Win32 App Packaging Tool and Intune support is great. Only caveat is that setting Intune up manually through the GUI is very time consuming and prone to human errors. We as a CSP provider also has to upload the same Win32 package to 15++ customers.

    I'd love if we could import and export a win32 intune config as JSON (or similar), so that we in future deployments can upload a intunewin package together with a config file.

    Future workflow:
    * First tenant: Upload .intunewin, configure manually and test. Export config when success.
    * All other tenants: Upload
    .intunewin and a…

  15. Add a policy to prevent device enrollment in Intune Company Portal app

    When you are doing mobile application management without enrollment (MAMWE) you don't want users to enroll their device in intune (you just want them to register when prompted). This strategy is described at https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/active-directory-conditional-access-mam.

    The company portal app (CPA) has to be installed to support MAMWE. For MAMWE, users don't ever need to log into CPA, but they are able to log into it. When they log into it they are prompted to enroll their device. As previously stated, when you are doing MAMWE only, you don't want your users to enroll their device. There is apparently no way…

  16. Software Center

    Add a program similar to Software Center from SCCM to manage updates and software as it more simple and user-friendly, also add a notification in the taskbar when updates are available instead of a triangle over the Intune icon.

    Many Thanks

  17. Allow to manage duplicate Intune Company Portal on Azure Portal

    When using DEP environment, duplicate Intune Company Portal shows on Azure Portal.
    One of it was deployed from iOS store and another one was deployed from VPP app.

    Even if we delete Intune Company Portal deployed from iOS store, however it comes back to Azure Portal next day.

    From support sides opinion, DEP device is able to enroll in Intune without specifying token.
    due to achieve that Intune will automatically add Intune Company portal and for indirect effects it comes back even if it was deleted on Azure Portal.

    It's a mess to manage deploying apps on Intune so please…

  18. Add deployment of Office 365 Business apps (Not just ProPlus)

    Currently you can use Intune to deploy O365 ProPlus with ease but this does not work for O365 Business. It would be good to see the same functionality for O365 Business as recently the Office 365 Configuration Tool has been discontinued it is now proving very difficult to deploy O365 Business with Intune.

  19. Deploy/assign an app to a single device/user in Intune

    At the moment, when you create a new App in Intune, it is only possible to deploy it to all Users/Devices or selected GROUPS.
    It would be great if you could install/uninstall the app for a single User/Device.

  20. Ordered Win32 app dependencies

    While dependencies for Win32 apps have been added in 1904, there is no way of defining the installation order within a certain dependency level.
    So if I need to install several dependencies in a defined order there is still no acceptable way to do so.
    Think of components like
    - a prerequisites package
    - a main install package
    - a patch package
    - a configuration package

    I might use the configuration package as the root package here and add the others as dependencies in a defined order.
    That would allow differnt configurations to be deployed using the same binaries and…
