  1. Get a report by mail

Same as SCCM, I would like Intune to allow me to subscribe to a specific report and send it to recipiants on a specific date\time.
most of the information they need is in those reports. in that way I can save time on creating portal management users and logins and stuff.
just get the necesary information by mail

  2. should be able to remove devices that are hung up in the Remote Task Box

there should be some way to remove devices that are hung up in the Remote Task Box. I have multiple devices that are hung up in the Remote Task Box. I have been told the only way to remove the devices is to Retire/Wipe the device.

  3. Customize Widgets

Since you have implemented widgets it would be nice for us to be able to modify their content and layout on the page.

  4. Better management of dates in SCCM Queries

Currently, if we want to include something like comparing dates on the hardware inventory date using functions like GetDate(), is must be done in the WQL editor and not through the GUI. Further, once you add these, you can no longer use the query editor, you must always edit the WQL. I would like to see this change in future versions so I can build queries, both inside and outside of collections, using these and similar functions.

  6. Ability to print policies from within management portal

It would be nice to have the ability to document the policies deployed as they are configured for documentation and troubleshooting purposes. On this same printout, it would be nice to also see the groups to which the policy has been deployed.

  7. All Status to "Green" on the General "Tab" confusing if no devices are in a collection.

This bring confusion to show All Status to "Green", on the General "Tab", if no devices are in a collection.
Why not just leaving "Total Device: 0" in the right "Column" in the General Tab indicating that it is empty or moving this info more in the line of sight of the user, in the middle top of the window?

  8. Clicking on "policy" under "source" in an alert does not take you to the policy

When you get an alert and go to that alert from the dashboard there is a link under the "source" heading with a "policy" link.

The expected behaviour is that if the error applied to a specific policy that it would take you to that policy.

What it does is just takes you to the policies section and has the top of the tree highlighted. This makes the alert useless as you don't know what policy is the culprit.

In the alerts section there should be much more information on what is going on. It tells you that a policy…

Hi, Kellan, yeah, sorry that’s frustrating. I’m going to move this from the Issues to the Ideas forum. As we’ve mentioned under the “get rid of Silverlight” request, we’re moving to the Azure console, starting with mobile app management. I don’t know how the change in framework will affect this particular issue, but we’ll get it in that queue.
    Thanks!

  9. Policy for "Delay to restart windows after scheduled updates..." is actually seconds instead of minutes

Please review and fix this policy. It says value can be between 1 and 30 minutes with the recommended value being 120 minutes(!). I used the recommended value of 120 minutes and my computer told me it was going to reboot after 120 seconds.

  11. "A new Exchange Connector version is available." But it is the same version we already have installed.

After every tenet update the Intune Admin console notifies us that a new Exchange Connector version is available for download. We download the new version only to find that it is the same version we already have installed. Current version we have installed is 5.0.5567.0.

  12. Asking what country you are from twice during sign up, isn't once enough ?

When signing up for an intune account you are asked what country or region you live in (for tax purposes and to decide what features are available to you)

secondly, once you've completed the process you are again asked what country you live in (in case you forget the password ?)

shouldn't the sign up process be clever enough NOT to ask you the same question twice, i.e,. it should insert the country you entered in the first sign up screen here

  13. Link to "View Troubleshooting Information" is not helpful at all

When you click "View Troubleshooting Informaiton" you would hope to get a KB article that applies to the alert. Instead it just brings you to the "get support" page. Kinda useless.

If there are alerts with error codes there really should be a KB associated to that error and a KB that loads from the troubleshooting link.

  14. Resolve bugs and make enrollment and ADmin console management easy

Q1. 'All users' section - doesnt show all users from Azure AD who has Intune license by default. it was used to. Now we have to manually add. It either shows manaully added users or the devices have any device linked. We want to see all users by default, who has Intune license.

Q2. As admin, i installed client on a PC (did not enroll). I can see the device in All devices or 'ungrouped devices' with no user linked to it.. Now, if I want to link this device to a user, it does not show the user in…

  16. Error message when filtering AD group results in Intune console

    Scenario:
    Intune standalone
AD Sync between local and cloud.
Local environment has a >1000 groups , everything is synchronised in the cloud ok.
In Intune management console you go :
Groups-Create new group- as criteria membership you try to add security groups
Let's say you have a few hundred groups that start with "at" and you try to filter using "at" in the select security group , you get this error:
: "A service error has occurred. Microsoft Intune has experienced a service error and to continue working you must restart your admin console. If this problem persists, you can…

  17. Intune Interface - Able to change settings by hovering over the field.

This may be personal preference, however i do not like the idea of being able to mouse over an item and change the setting with, say, the mouse wheel. Makes it very easy to make inadvertent changes to settings if you are scrolling through the pages.

And then you save a policy or configuration and it doesn't confirm the change(s) you have just made, if any.

Can this behavior be changed so that you must select the field, or at least confirm the selected change(s)?

  18. Can't add any Apps

I've set up a new trial account.
I've enrolled my device and it's appearing in the dashboard.
When I click Apps - Add Apps I get problems.

One one machine (Windows 7 & IE, in work on a domain) I get a pop up saying "The operation failed. This error might be transient. Try re-opening the Microsoft Intune Software Publisher"

On another machine (Windows 8 & IE at home on my LAN) when I click the Add Apps button a new tab opens in IE very briefly but goes away immediately.

In Chrome (Windows 8) I get "This application requires…

I don’t think you’re doing anything wrong and I am positive it’s not a measure of intelligence. :-) I’ve had issues on my machine, but usually it’s because I’m dealing with different builds and environments.

I was told to run this
    from an admin cmd prompt
    rundll32 windir\system32\dfshim CleanOnlineAppCache
and it’s worked in the past for me.

If it doesn’t work for you, I’d suggest opening a support case. Did you know we don’t charge for Intune support? Really! Here’s the information:

  19. Assigning EMS licences

The Intune admin console needs better guidance for assignment of EMS licences as it is confusing for users who have run an Intune only trial.

During the Intune trial, licences are assigned through the Intune admin console (account.manage.microsoft.com) by selecting the users and assigning an Intune trial licence. When we subsequently bought the whole EMS suite (which includes Intune) I struggled to assign licences. The EMS licences show as active in the subscriptions of the Intune admin console and even present a link to assign the licences which directs to the users section of the Intune admin console, but when…

  20. Windows 10 edition upgrade policies that do not apply should come back as "Not applicable"

Currently when you apply a windows Enterprise or EnterpriseN upgrade policy to devices that have the wrong sku for the policy, for example Enterprise upgrade policy on a Pro N Windows 10 device, the policy status comes back as conforms. This is misleading and confusing to users of the service. If it came back as "Not applicable" as the policy isn't applicable, then users would know they applied the wrong policy.
