  1. Posibility to block Android updates

Hi, we would like to have option to block Android updates. Sometimes Adroid OS update can cause changes how the apps are used or how they work. We want to have possibility to test the update and then allow the users to install it.

  2. Block Android Apps on Non-Knox Devices

    Hi All,
I have discovered using a custom Android Policy I cannot block certain android apps / packages on devices that do not support Samsung Knox.
Does anyone else have this issue? I have recently moved from another MDM solution where I could and very disappointed to find I cannot do this?

Please support my request for this to be added.

    Thank you

  3. Show Managed Google Play apps in correct language in Intune Portal

When we approve an app in the managed Google Play store and run a sync, the app appears in our Intune Portal but in the wrong language. Intune seems to add "&hl=BE" to the appstore URL, because we are in Belgium (COUNTRY code=BE). Unfortunately description and name are in Belarussian (LANGUAGE code="BE") then, which uses Cyrilic characters.
When we open the application on an Android device in Play Store for work, it is shown in the language configured on the device. (So problem only in Intune Portal)

First of all, this is off course looks very much like an error,…

  4. Android Enterprise - automatically sign in to MSFT Office apps after enrollment

This article describes that devices enrolled in Intune Company Portal automatically sing in to other MSFT O365 apps using authentication token re-use on Android and iOS: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/exchange/clients-and-mobile-in-exchange-online/outlook-for-ios-and-android/setup-with-modern-authentication#single-sign-on

Support just confirmed me that this is not supported on Android Enterprise (case 118062618463969). As Android Enterprise is the new standard, please also provide this SSO feature for Android Enterprise enrolled devices to further streamline enrollment experience. Now users provide their credentials twice during enrollment in the Intune Company Portal and then once more in one of the o365 suite apps (e.g. Outlook).

  5. Android Enrollment Token should allow automatic Scope Tag assignment

    Working for Sodexo,

    When creating enrollment token,
it would be really nice to be able to assign a ScopeTag to devices enrolling with such enrollment token.
Without depending on script or difficult to exploit dynamic groups.
This way our local admin would almost instantly see device having the scopetag they are entitled to managed.

    thanks
    John PIGERET

  7. Enable Work Profile widgets for “Fully Managed, Dedicated, and Corporate-Owned Work Profile” enrolled

Work profile widgets can be enabled via device policy for enrolment “Personal devices with work profile", but not "Fully managed, dedicated and Corporate-Owned" enrolment.

Please enable feature parity, so that work profile widgets can be added for enrolment “Fully Managed, Dedicated, and Corporate-Owned Work Profile”

  9. auto connect wifi android fully managed

Could we add a feature which allows Admins to configure an option to Autoconnect with Wifi for Android fully managed devices? Just like we have it for Windows 10?

  10. Android Dedicated: Block device use until all APPs and Settings are applied

We need an option to asing required APPs and Restriction to Android devices and dont let to be use until all its applied. ( Same as Autopilot has)

For example when we enroll a Android Dedicated Device it take 10 - 15 minutes until Dynamic Groups are updated and the device sync again with Intune so APPs or Restricctions came after that time. Its important to have all set before users can use them.

  11. Allow us to disable face unlock in Android

It seems that it is possible to use face unlock in Android Enterprise. This has previously been blocked it is very unsafe. Intune should support ways to block screen lock features more granularly, including disabling face unlock.

  12. Force InPrivate Incognito browsing

To allow true kiosk style android devices we need to prevent firstline workers staying logged in to browser sessions.
There are Client App Configuration Policies in Intune that allow you to enforce Incognito browsing but they don't take effect on Android Enterprise devices (in either Chrome or Edge).

  13. Add support to retrieve ICCID for Android Enterprise Fully Managed and Dedicated devices

Intune does not retrieve the ICCID for Android Enterprise Fully Managed or Dedicated devices. Currently this is by design. Please add this Support as I'm sure sure it's an important feature to many customers and also it is a Basic functionality in a modern MDM system.

  14. Need support for managed native Android email profiles

Outlook is great but the native Android email profiles allow great contact integration. Would love to offer up the option and support selective wipe for Android.

  15. Enable controls for Face Racongition feature in Android ( Samsung S8)

The Face ID feature is not supported by intune. All the new generation phones are coming with face id only feature. It is nice have more control over that feature.

  16. Android 10: Support Access to work profile calender in private profile

    https://developer.android.com/work/versions/android-10.0#access_to_work_profile_calendars

Android 10 introduced a new feature to be able to show corp calendar items in the private profile of Android Enterprise. Awesome feature for User Experience and Work/Personal usage of a device.

  17. Disable battery optimization on Android for Company portal and Outlook

The following article describes the impact of battery optimization on android and how to mitigate them: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/intune-user-help/power-saving-mode-android
In order to globalize the deployment of this setting it would be great to be able to configure it with a MDM policy

  18. Fix dialer apps in Multi App KIOSK mode

When adding Android Enterprise System apps in Multi App KIOSK mode for Device Owner, Android Enterprise please fix the dialer app incompatibility. I can get the Contact App & messaging app to run but not the dialer app. This would enable KIOSK callout functionality to Android Enterprise.

  19. Enforce device password for Android Enterprise enrolled devices

For Android Enterprise Work Profile (BYOD) and Fully managed enrollments the status per october 2019 in MS Intune on key management aspects are:

    1. password profile configured before device enrollment will enforce the user to create passcode/password accordingly during enrollment.

    2. any later change of the password profile will not be prompted nor enforced to the user’s device.

    3. a password-profile expiration, even when configured before enrollment of the device, will only notify the user to -voluntarily- change his passcode/password. The notification does not return nor forces the user to change or update his password.

My customers require that the 2nd and 3rd…

  20. Android Device Owner - PKCS and Custom profiles

We would like to be able to configure PKCS on devices enrolled via Knox Mobile Enrollment (KME), also known as Device Owner devices. Alternatively we would like to be able to create and install Custom profiles on Device Owner devices for scenarios where the configuration hasn't been explicitly added to Intune.

Our organization does not allow us to set up SCEP servers on the DMZ, while PKCS is OK and has already been implemented via Azure.
