  2. Outlook attachments wrong saved date

    • Description: We're using Windows 10 devices MDM managed by Intune. If we save an outlook attachment (.pdf/word/.jpg/etc.) the modified date is the date of the received mail message. We expect that if we save an attachment from an email message on the local machine (download directory of documents) that the modified date is the date of the save action. The creation date can be the date of the received mail message, but in this case it is not. This is very annoying because our end-users are downloading documents from their mail and must import them into salesforce or another…

  3. allow Screen Timeout Policy to be increased as well as decreased

Requesting that Screen Timeout Policy go into effect and is not ignored even if a lower value is already configured. In other words, allow Screen Timeout Policy to be increased as well as decreased.

  5. Alerts & Reports

Which will show if application has been installed on enrolled device.
Report to be Run and to show accurate date of installed applications - especially one that you can see from Control Panel.
Also to have notification/alert when application which do not need Admin privileges are installed on device (example: Zoom Video conferencing but there are some others)

  6. Completely whipe and reinstall device when onboarding Intune

Whipe and upgrade W10 home edition device when onboarding Intune

As an educational institution we've got the right to update every version of Windows to Windows 10 education. Currently we're arranging Intune. We would be greatly helped if it were possible to onboard Windows 10 Home edition OEM devices to Intune, resulting in bloatware free provisioning of Windows 10 Education, based on the home-edition license.

  7. Improvement in MDM Diagnostic Information Report

Hi Team, I have noticed that MDM Diagnostic information report generated from a Client PC to check what all policies are configured. It doesn't displays all the values configured in Intune. Opened a case with Microsoft and they told me that it's like that only which is a bit of issue from L0\L1 level troubleshooting point of view. Attached screenshot for same. if this can be improved to display all policies client is getting from Intune.

  8. Allow Windows 10 Action Center access with Multi-App Kiosk Mode

NB: I have been told to log this request in the Intune Uservoice by Microsoft Support.

In Windows 1803, we have our fleet of LoB app Tablets configured with a Multi-App Kiosk configuration. We're able to access to the Action Center (swipe from the right) to see various items we've configured such as Network, Brightness etc.

With Windows 1909 this is not possible any more. We've been told this is by design.

We would really love to be able to see the Action Center in Multi-App Kiosk mode with Windows 1909.

    Thanks

  9. In Microsoft Intune,"block" or "block" access to corporate data,

In Microsoft Intune, I would like to be able to not only "block" or "not blocked" access to corporate data, but restrict access to certain programs.

  10. Allow mobile device that don't fully support ... reports may not conform

This label may be misleading. It may mean "Encryption is required, but this windows tablet doesn't support it, so it is allowed access via the 'Allow devices which can't support something' rule. But the what I see is a device where the ability to allow devices which don't support [etc] may not conform.

    HI, James,
I’m not sure where in the UI you are. You should be able to attach a picture to the post and show me what label you’re talking about. If you could give the repro steps, starting from the very beginning of what you’re trying to do, that will give me the context I need.
    Thanks!
    Cathy

  11. Block login for local user accounts without AD UserID

There should be the possibility to prevent the local user from logging on to Windows 10. So that it is only possible to log in with the Actice Directory account only.
Perhaps there is also a powershell script that can be rolled out to all devices. It is very urgent to close this security gap as a company.

  12. Startup applications should not appear behind the start menu in KIOSK mode

When using KIOSK mode in Intune, an application that is configured to automatically launch on startup appears behind the full screen start menu, giving the impression that the application has not started. If you Alt-tab, the application can be switched to, but a KIOSK user will just start the application again, so you have two instances of the apps running.

  13. provide the ability for company to enable Windows Hello for Business and allow multiple biometric enrollment

Intune-managed Windows 10 clients are only allowed to enroll only 1 type of Windows Hello biometric authentication (either facial or fingerprint). This is limiting the user experience and the adoption towards password-less approach. Please provide the ability for company to enable Windows Hello for Business and allow multiple biometric enrollment via Intune.

  14. Manage windows defender

I would love to be able to apply a daily quick scan and a weekly full scan on all my devices. Why can we not do both?

  15. Managed InTune Sync Schedule

So currently the device will Sync every 8 hours?

Working in schools we would ideally want clients to sync straight at logon of the user(s) and maybe every 1-2 hours after.

Especially when you are dealing with young children and looking to deploy apps and settings.

  16. Ability to change ownership of device

The ability to change an owner of the device from one user in your environment to another would be helpful. For example, you deploy a device and the user has the device for a short time. You want to re-deploy by simply adding a user account. Currently the device will stay with the initial deployment user without the ability to change ownership.

  17. Want permanent pop up to appear on device before it restart

From Intune, we want a pop up will remain permanently on the device and will show the user how much time left for restart. Even after Restart checks are very well configured but still, machines are restarting without notifying the user.

  18. Change of primary user in intune portal

An person with no role (such as intune service administrator etc)should not be able to change primary user or remove primary user of a device in intune. But we have observed that they can go to properties->change of primary user option is enabled.Once they make changes,it will not reflect at all.Atleast an error should be generated that their role is insufficient to perform this action.

  19. Have a wildcard setting to allow all executables from a specified directory

Have the ability to allow all executable files within a specified directory.
Setting up Citrix Receiver requires the listing of 20+ .exe files. When it then updates there may be more added, which would also need to be added.
Allowing all the files in the Citrix directory would reduce the set up and admin overhead of keeping up to date

  20. Correlating UI description and location to graph

Baseline policies are great. However, many of the settings (40+ by my count) available in the baseline are also available as Device Configuration Profile settings. The challenge is that the Configration Profile setting description does not match the Baseline Security profile description of the same setting.

Likewise, querying graph for the settings does not include the ui description for the setting making it difficult to compare graph output with intune portal. It would be extremly helpful for graph to include the UI description of the control.

Also, the definitionId doesn't really describe where the feature is located in the UI,…
