  1. Intune Agent with support for Security Compliance baseline check

Azure Security Center allows you with the agent aswell as SCOM to enable a Security Compliance baseline check created by the SCM. I wish this feature was also enabled for domain joined devices with the intune agent installed.

Thus allowing us to make adjustment to the baseline, and verify its compliance.

  2. Batch Update Control

A section within the updates portion that shows the batch of updates you've approved to what groups. As an example, I approve updates in stages (Prelims, Seconds, then full on). Odd suggestion maybe but would make sending these out less of a hassle.

  3. Windows 10 'Get Windows 10' button in Intune

Put in the capability to allow an admin to selectively allow users (controlled by intune group) to update themselves to Windows 10.

  4. Detect running BitLocker encryption process

Full Microsoft Intune computer agent should recognize running BitLocker encryption process for drives and does not start restart countdown timer if restart is scheduled after updates installation.

We has some incidents, when encryption was enforced and in progress and Intune automatically restart computer. We must used recovery keyes for these drives (only BitLocker partition was accessible and unlock password or methods does not work) and after that continue with encryption.

This will be convinient for greater user experience with full PC Intune agent.

  5. Stop all automatic updates and always prompt user for any update (including mandatory & Endpoint virus & spyware definitions updates)

We have set up Intune not to automatically install any updates to enrolled devices (running Windows 7) because the devices are installed with a System Restoration software. Although we have set up Intune to prompt the user for installation of the updates, virus and spyware definitions are updated automatically. We need a way to stop automatic installation of ALL updates (including mandatory and Virus and spyware definitions updates) because in combination with the System Restoration software they cause serious network congestion and failures. Every day all updates installed automatically are being installed again in addition to the new ones.

  6. Autopilota

    Hi,

In Windows Autopilot if would be great if there was possibilities to enroll/upgrade devices that runs Window 7, to Windows 10.
Today, if the customer has Windows 7, it's a much bigger and more painful project to get them started with Microsoft 365/Windows 10.

    Regards,
    Niklas

  7. Manage Intune PC client devices in SCCM

Currently Intune enrolled mobile devices are shown in SCCM where Intune Client enrolled PC devices are only displayed in Intune. Management of these PCs is also in Intune with policies, applications, endpoint protection etc. needing to be duplicated in Intune as well as having them in SCCM. The point of running in unified architecture is to have the single administration point, I'm not sure why there is an exception for Intune PC clients.

Hi, Michael, I’m not really sure what you’re asking here, so let me lay out some choices.
    1) You can manage PCs and mobile devices in Intune without Configuration Manager. You use just the Intune web-based admin console. Windows 8.1 and above can be managed as either PCs (using the Intune fat client) or mobile devices (using the built-in OMA-DM client), but the recommended way is using the OMA-DM (aka MDM) client. Mac OS X 10.9 and later can be managed as a mobile client.
    2) You can manage PCs and mobile devices in Configuration Manager, which is connected to an Intune subscription. You would use the Win32-based Configuration Manager console. There are a few edge cases where you can only do something from the Intune console, but we try to keep that to a bare minimum. Windows 8.1 and above can be managed as either PCs…

  8. Approving updates should be instant, should not take 24 hours

declining updates reflect right away with a line across each declined updates so why should it take up to 24 hours before approved updates reflect on the console? I sometimes receive email in the morning for updates that I already know I've approved the day before (but not actually 24 hours since). This is just an annoyance so please come up with a better solution. Thank you kindly.

  9. Having the ability to view display adapter information from the Computer Details filter on the All Devices page

It is currently possible to view the display adapter information when you drill down into a specific device, but it would be good to be able to see this while looking at the Computer Details filter on All Devices. We are replacing some video cards and we need to get a count on how many we need to buy, and currently the only way to see the display adapter is by drilling down into a specific system.

  11. planning installation of updates and forced reboots

when you say that a user must install updates, the pc's from the User must restart and can't do the reboot later. Updates should install to a fix termin, only after the set date and not asap after the contact to intune from a device. Our customers are all over the world for presentation and then their device prompts to reboot and the presentation must be stop. We're on the way to lost a lot of customers for Intune and also can't recommend it to our other, new customers.
When will there be a change of the patch and install routine? …

  13. Add custom right-click deployments for devices

Today when we want to deploy a software \ script \ anything
the methodology is to add it to a group and then create a deployment
we use PC management with many small features we added as a deployment. for example: "reset local account password, reset spooler, run windows troubleshooters, etc..."
this kind of deployments need to be done once and for specific machines when a problem occurs.
I wish there would be an option to add custom right-click deployments on computers, same as "Reset Computer" exists today.
would be 10 times convenient for these scenarios

  14. if a different antivirus is detected on a corporate device, give the option to disable or remove it.

I often have new PC's that arrive with demo versions of software. I cant guarantee that they are removed by the admins. Intune should have the option to remove alternate AV packages or at least disable them. This becomes an even bigger problem when the trials expire and the PC's are no longer protected.

  15. Enabled Full Wipe to all machines enrolled via MS Intune Client Software

  16. make the UI clearer about the state of the device while the agent is not reporting in immediately after install

After removing Kaspersky Endpoint Security 10 the Intune Agent and Microsoft Endpoint client were installed. The Intunes portal however is not detecting the Microsoft Endpoint client and displays "Another endpoint application running," please see attached.

I have attempting reinstalling Intunes and Microsoft Endpoint and have run the Kaspersky removal tool "kavremover" however this did not resolve the issue.

I then logged a ticket with the Intune support team and was told that the issue may be a bug and that I would need to post my comments on your feedback portal.

Please advise if you have run into this issue…

  17. Microsoft 365 Device Management SUCKS

I was able to create a policy and apply it to my machines. And as I have stated I am EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED and FRUSTRATED with Microsoft with the fact that my NONE of my previous policies or setting migrated to your NEW platform… Now I have to RECREATE all my update policies and everything else… SO GLAD I HAVE NOTHING BETTER TO DO THAN TO RECREATE WORK I HAVE ALREADY DONE!!!

  18. When will full PC Client/MDM Parity be available?

What is the story on when the Full PC Management will be available via Intune MDM vs installing the PC Client. Today, if you want to use the client you have to view the status, etc through the Intune Admin Console that utilizes Silverlight. When will this be moved over to the Azure Intune Portal?

  19. Manual refresh for agents not responding with a status meter

I would like to have a way to push or refresh agents that are being displayed in the Device Health as 'Not Reporting"... It would be great to be able to manually do a push or refresh and see the details in a view able window

  20. Boot time tracking

Please add boot time tracking to Intune client. This would be a very useful addon.
