Add an action for "Send email to" in the Action button on the Managed Browser app in addition to the "Add Bookmark" action.
In navigating sites, users want to quickly send web pages to collegues using Outlook, without having to copy paste the URL in Outlook.1 vote
We have an externally hosted email hygiene product that utilizes a non-standard port number in the URL to reduce likelihood of attack. Unfortunately, when you enter the URL or click the link from email, the Intune Managed Browser on Android strips out the port number. The same URL works on iOS and retains the port number. I already opened a case with MS Premier support (117101216488100) and they stated that it's not our configuration but that the product only supports ports 80 and 443.25 votes
Please change Microsoft Managed Browser with Microsoft Edge for Android and IOS as managed browser - so that we can Manage Internet access using managed browser policies with Microsoft Intune with a browser that are known for the users as it is default in Windows 10138 votes
As of the week of June 4, 2018, the Microsoft Edge browser for mobile devices (iOS and Android) supports Microsoft Intune app protection policies. Users of iOS and Android devices who sign-in with their corporate Azure AD accounts in the Edge application will be protected by Intune. On iOS devices, the Require managed browser for web content policy will allow users to open links in Edge when it is managed.
I think what you’re asking for is making Edge replace the managed browser, so I won’t call this complete, but wanted you to know that we added this Edge-related feature.
Managed Browser on iOS does not support opening Apple Wallet passes and adding them to the Wallet app. The .pkpass filetype is not supported and opening it in MB leads to an error message.
It is not possible to passes to the Wallet app.
E.g. Lufthansa boarding pass is received per email to Outlook app. MAM policy is set to require Managed Browser. User clicks "Add to Apple Wallet" link in email and MB opens. Error message occurs.11 votes
No pop-up windows when add user in CornerStone ERP system on iPhone Managed Browser. But Safari and Chrome works fine. Managed browser Android it works. But only iOS doesn't.38 votes
Please update the Intune Managed Browser to protect our end user from phishing attacks based on IDN homograph attacks.
The attack method is described on http://hackaday.com/2017/04/19/you-think-you-cant-be-phished/.
Chrome and Safari are not vulnerable. The Intune Managed Browser still is.
Thank you!1 vote
The right people are looking at it, thanks!
Enable x.509 certificate authentication in the Managed Browser for IOS. Currently user certificates distributed to IOS devices via Company Portal cannot be used for ADFS primary or multi-factor authentication - no certificate selection prompt. However it seems to handle device certificates as Azure conditional access policies set to validate device compliance function.22 votes
Make it possible to scan barcode with the managed Browser App for Android and iOS.
We are accessing our Intranet Site based on SharePoint with the Managed Browser.
Unfortunately the user always has always to authenticate him self by entering his credentials in the Login Dialog Box.
We have a Federation Authentication Trust with the Azure AD, so the Login Credentials should be the same for ext. and int.
Is there a way to make SSO Authentication with the Managed Browser?
Is there a way to save the Users Credentials in the Managed Browser?
Or is there a way to push the Credential to the Managed Browser with a PLIST Configuration?36 votes
Managed Browser and Windows 10 mobile browser to support SSO and act as if on the LAN for specified domains
All mobile device management software (good/mobile iron/airwatch) have a proxy server that runs on my LAN that allows me to have a work browser to act as if it is on my LAN for my internal DNS domains that I specify and can pass through my SSO credentials to my intranet and other local web services like business objects. I am trying to replace 550 blackberry devices globally with windows phones and 150 global BYOD devices on GOOD with InTune and I can not do this until I can have a browser act as if on my lan.18 votes
Enable modification of user agent in Managed Browser via Intune policy. We would like the ability to insert(append) a string into user agent that will be checked for as users attempt to authenticate via our SSO solution. The idea is that only devices running the managed browser that also have this custom user agent will be granted access.1 vote
It would be nice for some web-applications in our company to be able to view the Managed Browser in Full Screen.
This means without the navigation bar etc.69 votes
Allow Managed Browser policies to force only traffic for specified domains to the managed browser. Potentially allow other links to open in the native browser.110 votes
- Push bookmarked pages
- Enable/disable the ability to edit bookmarks on a device
- Allow and disallow sites from the same profile. For example, I only allow access to certain sites, but I want to blacklist a portion of the site without manually whitelisting everything else available on that site.
- Option to disable navigation to microsoft site describing Intune. Our kiosk device users don't need that info.
This is really 4 requests in 1, so hard to get to “complete”. Today we released support for using policy to configure the default home page, which you didn’t ask for, and to configure bookmarks, which you did. So I will call this started, even though this is only for Android right now. iOS will come later.
Hi, I need to make staff at a school Compliance ready by disabling the browsing of Adult content within a mixture of smartphones.
I have enabled a managed browser app so far and disabled Safari.
However, can't see anything that will do the job so far.6 votes
Application policy and managed browser policy, does not reflect the changes to be associated with the deployment of the application. We want you to the application policy and managed browser policy can be changed1 vote
I"m not sure what the issue is here – if this is a bug, can you tell us 1) what you’re trying to do
2) what you expected to happen as a result
3) what actually happened?
Or is this something that doesn’t exist but you want us to build?
Managed Browser is not currently available for Windows Phone, currently this is stopping a client switching 500 Android Tablets to Windows Phone devices.4 votes
Windows 10 will provide support for managed browser – check out this presentation from Ignite :-)
- Don't see your idea?
