  1. Group targeted branding for Company Portal

    We would love to have this possibility as described in attached screenshot. This is directly from "Azure Portal -> Intune -> Client Apps -> Company Portal branding" but as disscussed with Intune Support team this is not enabled and is not functional and we hope that this function will come to us one day.

    • Ability for end users to uninstall apps using Company Portal

      We would like end users to be able to uninstall applications using the Company Portal. Right now you appear to be able to select Reinstall, but you cannot remove an app once it has been installed unless you have Admin permissions and can manually remove it using Control Panel.

      • Improve Company Portal Messages / Notifications for Android MAM Devices

        Confusing Company Portal Messages for Android Devices with MAM:-

        Since we’re only deploying MAM polices and don’t require users to enroll their device (MDM) in Intune, some users have found the messages in Company Portal confusing (examples attached).

        Specifically the message saying that you can’t access company data unless you enroll your device which isn’t accurate. This has resulted in a number of users enrolling their device in Intune.

        Please improve the notifications and messages in the Company Portal for Android devices that only require MAM or add some additional configuration options to either modify/disable the messages

        • Automatically generate an app password and add it to the email profile on initial setup of mobile devices

          As things stand now, our mobile device users have to sign into the Company Portal app and walk through the entire process of installing the management profile, confirming device settings, etc. During this process their email profile is set up on the device, but if MFA is enabled for their account, they have to leave the company portal, sign into Office 365, create an app password, and then enter it in the phone's email settings. This is a needless level of complexity.

          • The InTune Company Portal app does not display the correct Version Number for Windows LOB Apps

            When I upload a custom MSI file to the InTune Admin UI, it stores the version number that is embedded into the MSI file (i.e. 11.6.5.4430), but when the app is displayed in the Company Portal app on an enrolled device, the version number displayed is not the same as the MSI version number.

            The version number displayed in the InTune Company Portal app appears to be related to the number of times the MSI file has been uploaded to the LOB App record in the InTune Admin UI. The first time I upload an MSI, the version number displayed…

            • Company Portal - Do not display device management option for MAM-WE users

              We recently received the ability to disable MDM for certain users/devices; however, this has led to inconsistencies in the Company Portal application.

              1. On the DEVICES tab, a red exclamation point is currently displayed next to the user's device. This is the normal state for a device that cannot be managed and should be removed.

              2. When viewing the Device Details for a device on the DEVICES tab, a red exclamation point is displayed with a message stating, "This device is not managed." Please change the exclamation point to a more positive icon if the device is not eligible to…

              • allow company web portal for supervised ios devices

                Allow users with iOS supervised devices to use the self service features of the Web Company Portal, to be able to remove their pincode, rename their device, put their device in lost mode and wipe company data.

                These options used to be in the Web Company Portal up till Juli 2018, but for unknown reason have been removed.

                It's certainly not on behalf of Apple and the DEP program.

                This removal has caused an considerable increase in our support costs as users are no longer able to 'reset' their passcode on their iOS device and now must log a ticket…

                • Unable to install apps from Company portal when Win10 device is Azure bulked enrolled

                  When a Windows 10 device is bulked enrolled via provisioning package it is not possible to install applications where the portal states the following: "This device hasn't been set up for corporate use yet. Select this message to begin setup".

                  I can confirm that the devices is enrolled into Azure and managed by Intune. This is how the Company Portal gets installed in the first place.

                    Hello Microsoft

                    We migrated to Intune recently and we noticed a glaring omission on the app store. We can not have screen shots added in the app catalog besides the icon and description of the app. Playstore has this, Apple app store has this, other MDM solution has this! Please bring this feature, it would be a great add-on in terms of customer experience

                        Hi, Joe, before Intune could manage something like this, Outlook would have to permit an MDM system to manage fonts. I checked, and they don’t. If you go to https://outlook.uservoice.com/, you can submit a suggestion to that team to make it something that could be set via policy, and then if they do that, Intune could set it, either in the UI or using an OMA-URI. Most Outlook-related requests would need work on both sides.

                        If you file that, come back here and past the Outlook request URL, so anyone who wants to vote this one up would know to go vote that one up, too.

                      • Option to force users to accept terms and conditions each time they enroll a new device.

                        Currently, once a user accepts the deployed Terms and Conditions across one of their enrolled devices, they will not be required to accept the Terms and Conditions again on any of their other devices.

                        "Users only have to accept updated terms and conditions once. Users with multiple devices don't have to accept terms and conditions on each device."

                        This is a request to create the option to force users to accept deployed terms and conditions each time they enroll a new device, even if they have already accepted them on the first device they have enrolled.

                        • Provide ability to disable access to OneDrive on the Web.

                          Provide the ability to disable access to OneDrive on the Web, similar to the ability to enable/disable Outlook on the Web. This will prevent users from accessing OneDrive for Business from home or personal computers. Access from managed devices and work computers would not be interrupted.

                              It would be awesome if we could re-build our "library" of apps that users can install and also use device licensing so we don't have to use Apple ID's

                              • renaming the device in the company portal should rename it in the Intune console

                                Is it possible to rename a android device. I have renamed the device in Company portal but it is not showing up in Intune.. even after a refresh.

                                • Simpliy enrollment process - provide better user experience

                                  It would be great if we can reduce the steps necessary for enrollment in Intune somehow. Having all this user interaction is not good. Instead of having to confirm various user dialogs it would be great if a user can trigger the enrollment process - e.g. by specifying username and password - and the devices enrolls without a need for the user to confirm anything else.

                                    Enrollment is a process that varies widely among platforms and enrollment methods. This suggestion is pretty vague, so I doubt we’d ever be able to call it “complete” – I’d encourage you to spin up more specific feedback on particular elements and move your votes to those. However, I did want to let you know that with the updates we’re releasing the week of Nov 6, we now have:

                                    New enrollment status page for Windows 10 enrollments
                                    You can now configure a greeting that appears when your users enroll Windows 10 devices. Use the Enrollment Status Screen to configure a custom message and a hyperlink to be displayed to your end users when they enroll their Windows 10 devices. The Enrollment Status Screen will also give end users a view into the progress of policy settings that are being applied to their device.

                                  • App deployment stuck if deployment is not directly successfull

                                    I enrolled over 700 Iphone's last month and i noted that if the App enrollment failed during the enrollment it wont' install again. (These are all normal free App store apps). The apps failed mostly due to poor network connection/users hitting cancel during the enrollment.

                                    If you check the company portal and the select the Company Apps you see the install button is greyed out. Please reset the greyed out install button after one day, so the user can install the app manually later. Now i have to ask them to deploy the app from the App store and wait…

                                    • access Company Portal on DEP enrolled devices without logging in as a specific user

                                      Today when you launch the Company Portal on a DEP enrolled iOS device when User Affinity is disabled, you are prompted for credentials.

                                      I want to be able to access the functionality of Company Portal about this device without logging in as a specific user. Specifically being able to see the last time policy compliance was refreshed or to immediately refresh policy. Would also be nice to be able to shake and send a debug report.

                                      • Is there a way that I can get Microsoft Intune to stop automatic downloads?

                                        I won't shut down my laptop, just sleep it for a while, usually by closing the lid. I'll leave tabs open, naturally, because I plan to go back on within the hour. The problem is, almost every time I open my laptop, I have to log in and my tabs are gone. Lo and behold, a window in the bottom right hand corner will tell me Microsoft Intune restarted my device. I am seriously tired of these useless updates, especially because Intune restarts my device practically twice a day. (How many updates do I need? Seriously!) Anyway, unless I'm sitting…

                                          I’m sorry you’re frustrated. As a user of a school-issued computer, there’s nothing you can do. Your administrator has decided that you need Intune to keep your computer updated. Your administrator has some control over which updates go out and when, but it’s important for administrators to reduce risk to the school network by keeping all computers as well-patched as possible. If not, well, think about some of the unsafe computing behavior your classmates may be doing, and imagine that infecting all the rest of the computers – yours, your instructors, your IT staff.

                                          Believe me, I know how frustrating this is. When I introduce myself to other people at Microsoft, I usually say something like “You know that product that gives you those annoying messages and reboots your computer at the worst possible time? Yeah, that’s my product.” But in the end, it’s a “safety first” thing.

                                        • Applications already installed listed in Company Apps

                                          If I already installed an application from Company Apps it still displays there. Instead it should redirect to the application or not be listed if it's installed on the device.
