  1. Local fast Console

Web Console has many advatages, but it feel however a bit slow to use. If possible to make a local installed Console With a small qucik cache of information that only needs to update differential bits that I think would give a nice feeling when operating.

  2. Intune Interface - Able to change settings by hovering over the field.

This may be personal preference, however i do not like the idea of being able to mouse over an item and change the setting with, say, the mouse wheel. Makes it very easy to make inadvertent changes to settings if you are scrolling through the pages.

And then you save a policy or configuration and it doesn't confirm the change(s) you have just made, if any.

Can this behavior be changed so that you must select the field, or at least confirm the selected change(s)?

  3. Ability to edit the 'Managed by your company' message

Currently managed apps when launching show 'Managed by your company' prior to opening. We have researched and even opened cases with Microsoft in hopes that we can edit this or control what it says. It seems very generic and was looking for ways to make it more company driven.

Would like to see this as a feature that the end user can control or update. Please consider this for future releases or a roadmap item.

  4. Enterprise Data Protection policies won't apply on Windows 10

I created an EDP policies and this is the error I receive on Windows 10 Pro 1511:
MDM PolicyManager: Policy is rejected by licensing, Policy: (EDPEnforcementLevel), Area: (DataProtection), Result:(0x86000002) Unknown Win32 Error code: 0x86000002.

I've tested on multiple machines and was told by Microsoft that EDP doesn't work in 1511 or Windows 10 Insider Preview.

Hi, Joseph, if by 1511 you mean the TH2 Windows Insider build, you are correct -. EDP is enabled for RS1 Windows Insider builds that started going out somewhere around December of last year. If you can get that build, it should work, but we can’t make it all happen until Windows makes the feature generally available.

  5. Unable to show installation progress of app on Windows Phone 10

Please provide “progress bar” to show the installation progress of app to the user on Windows Phone 10. My users use Company Portal to install apps. They complained that Company Portal kept displaying "Installing" and they had no idea of when will the app was installed.

  6. Ability to approve Surface Pro firmware updates

I was told by Microsoft Intune support team to request this feature in the Intune Feedback site because there is no way to approve New Surface Pro firmware updates. When an Intune agent is installed you cannot install the firmware updates because they do not see it. As soon as the agent in uninstalled the firmware update shows up in Windows Update

  8. Allow manually place device in quarantine

Allow an administrator to manually place a device in quarantine in Intune standalone without needing to remotely selective wipe the device.

Some circumstances may occur that you want to block access to corporate data. (virus, billshark, misusage device, based on inventory)

  9. Woudl like the service to automatically select custom Terms & Conditions based on the language used on the device.

We know that we can have customized Terms & Conditions, and we know that we can assign these by user groups. What we want is to query the language used on the device and automatically select the appropriate, pre-loaded language. This would overcome any risk of the wrong language to be displayed if IT doesn't properly assign the right T's & C's based on the language used.

Kevin – are you asking for this for standalone Intune, or hybrid (ConfigManager+ Intune), or both? It’s definitely something we’ve been interested in doing. Configuration Manager currently does something similar with apps, where you can have metadata in multiple languages for the same app, and the client OS picks the right one. Intune standalone doesn’t have any type of language infrastructure. So I was curious which configuration you were most concerned about.

  11. OS X screensaver activation time is set wrong

    1. OS X 10.11, OS X 10.11.2 (at least)

    2. Apply policy that sets screensaver activation time to 1 (or 5)

    3. Apply policy that sets password lock time to 1

    4. Ensure Password Policy is downloaded (Settings -> Profiles -> Password ..)

    5. Go to Settings -> Screensaver

    6. Screensaver activation time is greyed out and shows "20 min"

    7. Wait for screensaver to activate.......

I can reproduce this with at least two OS X 10.11.x devices I have for testing.

Not to sound like a douche but I have currently 6 different tickets open with MS Support regarding various policies which do not apply correctly,…

  12. Wifi profiles management for WP 8.1

Wifi profile management for WP 8.1 is not on the same level as for Android and iOS. Manage through the GUI is what customers expect for first class members.

  13. Admin Portal UX Enhancements

Option to distinct Application Name and Display name Admin Portal/Company Portal

Applying (enterprise) naming convention on app level causes app names displayed in company portal which aren't user friendly.
As the Admin portal lacks the option to create a (folder(s)/group(s))structure on items level (e.g. apps, policies) we introduced naming convention to keep overview of app landscape (200+ apps).

An extra column is desired to make distinction between name (admin portal) and display name (company portal).

Further sorting on category level will be a great improvement.
The ability to create custom categories, currently limited to default categories provided by Intune.
    The…

  14. Exchange Online Policy syncing issue

We are facing delay(3-5 hrs) in replication after user is been added to security group , while removing from security group is immediate action within (5 min), need to minimize this time for this one way syncing issue -- waiting for Microsoft to debug this problem.

  15. Include a Wizard to set up organization

The set up, configuration and deployment process has many factors and decision points a wizard could help avoid timely mistakes. For instance, it took me nearly three weeks to learn the process from beginning to end. And still am unable to complete enrollment of Android and IOS devices. But I am getting closer.

  16. Error message when filtering AD group results in Intune console

    Scenario:
    Intune standalone
AD Sync between local and cloud.
Local environment has a >1000 groups , everything is synchronised in the cloud ok.
In Intune management console you go :
Groups-Create new group- as criteria membership you try to add security groups
Let's say you have a few hundred groups that start with "at" and you try to filter using "at" in the select security group , you get this error:

  19. Multiple Intune Reporting issues

Multiple Intune Reporting issues. Some PCs were upgraded from Win 8.1 to Win 10. Intune incorrectly reports OS version when “Computer details” is filter applied.
Software/ detected software report is missing significant amount of information – software is not identified e.g. no name, no publisher name.

  20. iOS - Corporate Pre-Enrolled Device enrollment fails with SCEP Installation error

We have the Apple Deployment portal set up to push devices into Intune. Intune is supposed to push a pre-enrollment configuration to the device.

Sometimes we get an error saying that the profile failed to install. SCEP server returned invalid response. The devices are activated with the carrier. The devices have also been connected to WiFi as an alternative.

As far as I know, the only way we can even get past that is by restoring the iOS device with iTunes. Obviously, you can see the predicament here that my company is facing.
