    Hi, Hax.

Windows 7 went out of support on January 14, 2020, which is why we decided to stop supporting Windows 7 in Intune on the same date (see: aka.ms/Windows7_Intune). Windows 10 offers many more management options and is more secure than Windows 7.

Intune is constantly adding support for newer versions of all of our supported operating systems (Android, iOS/iPadOS, macOS, and Windows) and removing support for older systems as their developers also remove support. We’re happy to manage your devices no matter which of these platforms you choose.

For more information on the supported versions of each platform, see: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune/fundamentals/supported-devices-browsers

  4. Microsoft 365 Device Management SUCKS

I was able to create a policy and apply it to my machines. And as I have stated I am EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED and FRUSTRATED with Microsoft with the fact that my NONE of my previous policies or setting migrated to your NEW platform… Now I have to RECREATE all my update policies and everything else… SO GLAD I HAVE NOTHING BETTER TO DO THAN TO RECREATE WORK I HAVE ALREADY DONE!!!

  5. Improve Android Hardware Inventory to include "Android Security Patch Level" in SCCM / Intune Hybrid

Current "Intune Company Portal" do not report "Android Security Patch Level" as part of the Android Hardware Inventory to SCCM in a Hybrid environment.

This is important as our security policy requires that the device must be up-to-date on Android Security Patch inorder to be "In Compliance"

From an administrative point of view it should be possible to have an overview of your Android devices to verify whom devices that has been upgraded with the latest security updates from Android.

Security Vulnerabilities are rapidly increasing for mobile devices, e.g. the previous KRACK Vulnerability. Hence it would great to see that…

We do now support setting the security patch level for Android devices in Intune, as of the June 2019 release, but we announced deprecation of support for hybrid a while ago, and I missed this since it was in Android and not the hybrid category. I’m going to say declined because this specified hybrid, but hopefully with co-management you’re getting what you need. If not, post back.
    Thanks!

  6. Ability to perform Office365 updates through Intune

Believe this feature does not exist currently. We need to have the ability to update Office 365 updates through Intune with better control. Hope am not overloooking any feature which allows us do this currently.

  7. Make it possible to migrate from Computer (intune agent) devices to MDM devices

With the new Intune Portal within the Azure Portal the 'classic' Intune Agent gets more and more obsolete.

I don't know when the intune agent will be end of life of if it wil be end of life. (maybe something to document?)

I would like to see a possibility where the 'classic' intune agent gets uninstalled and the device gets enrolled in MDM (Intune MDM) automaticaly.

So for example, I have 300 computer devices managed by Intune through the Intune Agent. I want these computers (that are in use) to be enrolled in MDM instead of the Intune Agent in…

There are many options for enrolling a PC in MDM (see https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune/enrollment/windows-enrollment-methods) , and admins should take the opportunity to reevaluate policy before migrating from the legacy PC software client to MDM. Any push-button/migration tool would lock admins into a limited set of scenarios, so ultimately we’ve decided not to build a tool. Our recommendation is to set up Hybrid Azure AD join (the first item under “Administratior-based enrollment in Intune”), which allows automatic enrollment without needing to touch every PC.

Note that the end of life date for the legacy PC software client is October 15, 2020. Move PCs over to MDM ahead of this date. Reach out to support if you have concerns about moving these PCs ahead of this deadline.

  8. Migrate Intune PC management into new Azure Intune portal

Very cool that the Mobile portion has been migrate into the new Azure Intune portal.

But what the current PC management?

Why does it still require the old Silverlight portal?
Bad experience to browse between 2 portal.

Can you guys migrate everything into the new Azure Intune Portal?

Please Intune Team, migrate the PC management portion into the new Azure Intune Portal for the benefit of your clients,

  9. Include BIOS information in Inventory Reports

Currently when we run a Computer Inventory report, BIOS information and version are not included. Please include this information in Computer Inventory reports. This would give us a better report to identify which computers need BIOS updates without having to view the properties of each individual computer.

  10. MAM for MAC OS X?

We have MAM for Android and iOS, WIP for Windows 10. But unfortunately Microsoft does not support MAC OS X devices. We have many customers planning for BYOD based on MAM/WIP, but unfortunately have to ban MAC devices from the list.

Unfortunately, there is no technical solution at this time for MAC OS.

  11. Windows 10 Upgrades (1511) via Intune

The Windows 10 1511 Upgrade is not available via Intune. We use Intune as our Update Management platform (small business).

I thought that the Windows update functionality in Intune should be like a WSUS in the Cloud. With peer-Distribution in Windows 10 and in Intune before it should be possible to not overload our Internet line.

If this should not work by design then please Microsoft state clearly which of your products is designed for which Scenario.

  12. Decrease the interval for detecting new updates and applications.

Currently, the detection frequency for new apps and updates has a minimum value of 8 hours. This is very troublesome when enrolling PCs using group policy for the PC agent, as there is no real telling when the device will be fully updated and ready to use. The value ought to be configurable down to an "instantly" setting or at least to ½ hr.

  13. Intune Agent: Request for a Progress bar or Status

We're going to migrate 300 Clients to AAD and with Intune Client installed. All software will be installed through Intune.

We ask you kindly to add a Progress bar or Status to the Intune Agent on "Updates" > "Try again" or somewhere else, so the User is able to see whether the agent is doing something or not.

The current situation is, that employees are clicking "try again" over and over again and nothing seems to happen but in background intune is downloading, etc. Would be awesome if you could add this little thing as soon as possible.

    Thanks

  14. Windows 10 policy item to set Logon Disclaimer

An InTune policy item which allows you to set the legalnoticecaption and legalnoticetext group policy settings so that Intune managed mobile workstations display a logon disclaimer.

  15. Dashboard Update Intervals

One major negative aspect of the well designed dasboard is the time it takes, until changes become visable.
Warnings and critical massages stay a very long time, which is confusing with hundrets of clients involved.

  17. Automatically deploy Intune PC Client for Azure AD joined computers

Not entirely sure if this belongs here, or in Azure AD, however....

From reading the documentation, it appears that the for Windows 10 Enterprise PCs, they can be managed automatically upon joining the Azure AD domain as mobile devices only.

For corporate issued PCs, it would aid SMBs greatly if adding the Intune PC Client can be done automatically upon joining the PC to Azure AD. This would lower IT department's involvement in issuing new devices, so that company administration could just buy (for example) a Surface Pro and hand it to a new employee, along with the Azure AD/Office…

  18. Create a single Admin Role in SCCM/Intune Hybrid for iOS Devices

Create a single Admin Role in SCCM/Intune Hybrid for iOS Devices to do Apple DEP Sync and assigning profiles to this devices. Actually we need Full Administrator Role as per Microsoft Support to do this actions (Referenz # 116072193873488). But we have to limitate the administratior permission for our Intune Admins.

Thank you for your suggestion for Hybrid Mobile Device Management (MDM) with Intune and Configuration Manager.

As of August 14, 2018, we have announced that on September 1, 2019, we will retire the hybrid MDM service offering, so we are declining any suggestions specifically for hybrid scenarios.

We still support co-management, which enables you to concurrently manage Windows 10 devices by using both ConfigMgr and Intune.

We encourage you to start planning your migration for MDM from the ConfigMgr console to Azure and to shift your UserVoice votes to MDM features for Intune. For more information, see https://aka.ms/hybrid_notification

Thank you for your feedback, and thank you for using Intune and Configuration Manager!

  19. Endpoint Protection Alerts

It would be nice to have the critical alerts for endpoint protection send an email to the effected user when a issue is detected.

  20. No auto-restart with logged on users for scheduled automatic updates installations

Intune lacks the equivalent of the group policy setting "No auto-restart with logged on users for scheduled automatic updates installations".

There are many mission critical environments where we're only able to force updates 1-day a month during a very specific maintenance window.

With this setting, computers should only install updates after deadlines have passed and updates become mandatory.
