  1. Revoke all VPP App Licenses when a device is Wiped

When an Apple VPP app is deployed and a device is wiped or deleted from Intune, the VPP app license should be revoked for that device and that license returned to the "pool" of available licenses.

  2. New option when deploying apps (assignment type)

It would be very helpful to have other options when apps are assigned to groups.
Required if the app is already installed on the device
Use case: From 10k users, half of them have app X installed already and not managed. If you want this app to be managed a re-deployment would be necessary, but only for the users that have the app installed. The number of users can change by tens or even hundreds every day. With a policy like this you make sure the app is re installed as managed only for ppl using the specific app, without…

  3. Distribute Win32 packages to other tenants as MSP / CSP

We're a CSP provider, one of our services is to manage customers Intune MDM setup.

We now have about 15 Intune customers, and we're growing. A common task is to Win32 package apps that basically everyone needs, like Adobe Reader. This is very time consuming and prone to human errors.

What if we could package and upload Win32 packages to our partner tenant, then from customer tenants add us as a package provider, kind of like how Microsoft Store work today. Then from a customer perspective, all they have to do is add packages from us, then assign as they…

  4. Support deployment of Progressive Web Apps with Intune

With the new Edge browser, it would be awesome to support PWAs for enterprise application deployment via Intune.

  5. Approved domain sign ins to OneDrive/O365 apps on managed devices - Android Enterprise

Currently you can specify a list of "approved users/accounts" who can sign in to OneDrive on a managed device (in this case specifially for Android Enteprise) but this is not feasible for large companies with thousands of users. The list is too long to manage.

Preferably, you should only allow "company.com" domain sign ins to the managed device for the OneDrive app and block others from other domains. The same should apply to all O365 apps.

  6. Ability to arrange order that Apps, Configurations and Powershell are run / deployed

Alternatively be able to specify a delay in time on the above mentioned items would also do the trick and may be simpler to manage and implement.

Also the ability to re-run Powershell commands would be a nice touch

  7. Managing Updates to Optional Win32 Apps

Better management of updates to available Win32 apps that were self-served installed from the Company Portal. Currently I can see no sensible way to manage updates to these apps.

  8. Win32 AppMedia Modification directly in Intune

During application testing apps are often modified. The current solution with wrapping and uploading is extremely time consuming. Often only small changes are made to applications during testing. Make it possible to modify media (.intunewin) directly in Azure/intune without the need to wrap the application and upload the hole thing again. If i modify a file in a package in sccm. Only that file is updated on distribution points. If i modify a 50kb file in an app say 1.2 gb in intune i have to upload the hole thing again 1.2 Gb. 99% of the data is already in…

  9. Office Suite as dependency

Win32 apps can have and be listed as a dependencies for other applications. The Office ProPlus Suite should be able to be listed as a dependency too for Office addins. Otherwise they don't seem to try installing in the correct order.

  10. Assign WebClips separated per OS

We need a possibility to separate the Assigning from WebClips per OS, because we want some WebClips to be on the iOS Devices and others to be on the Windows Devices but we don't want them to be all installed on every Intune Managed devices

  11. Please add the ability to delay Device Configuration Profiles

Please can the ability to set a time delay to device configuration profiles to be added?

When a device is enrolled, it will be installing applications. Some device configuration profiles relay on applications, and if the app isn't there, the profile fails. The ability to set a delay would allow for specific profiles to not take affect until after a specific time interval.

  13. Allow shared mailbox in app configuration profile for Outlook

When we create an app configuration profile for Outlook and enable the option for users to add only work or school accounts, they are not allowed to add a shared work mailbox. And when we disable the option they are allowed to add a shared work mailbox but also a personal mailbox (i.e. Gmail). This is clearly not as intended. Make sure that users can add shared work/school mailboxes but not personal mailboxes!

  15. Re-apply device specific profile configuration / app configuration

In Intune portal we can browse to any enrolled device. It would be great to select any device specific configuration in the device list and re-apply any pushed configuration to this device. For example re-apply wifi profile for example.

This would make instant troubleshooting a lot easier instead of waiting on sync time interval or device check-in.

  16. Deploy/assign an app to a single device/user in Intune

At the moment, when you create a new App in Intune, it is only possible to deploy it to all Users/Devices or selected GROUPS.
It would be great if you could install/uninstall the app for a single User/Device.

  17. Win32 Apps - ability to evaluate detection rule before installation

At the moment we have detection rules to detect if our WIN32 App is properly installed on the devices, this is a great feature but needs to be expanded. At the moment the detection rules are checking before installing the application, thus making it hard to update a application if the detection rule is pointing to a file that will not change.

It would be great if we have the possibility to define
Evaluate detection rule before install = True/False

  18. Automatically update installed "available" Win32 (intunewin) apps on devices

    Explanation:

    1. You create a Win32 app in Intune.

    2. You assign the app to a group of users as "available for enrolled devices".

    3. User clicks and installs app via Company Portal.

    4. You as an admin update the app binaries for the App in Intune (you replace the .intunewin file with a new version)

    5. NOW THE APP SHOULD AUTOMATICALLY UPDATE/REINSTALL ON USER DEVICES USING THE NEW PACKAGE

This is mandatory. This will make or break a 10k+ Intune deployment. We need this functionality ASAP, or we'll have to go with Chocolatey + AWS S3.

I realize with "required" apps, you can simply…

  19. Client App Installation Status: amalgamate user and device status

Currently the Intune console reports the status of client app installation for device and user separately. This makes the statistics a nonsense. The report can show that, for the same device, the installation failed for "system" and succeeded for user. The client app is either installed on the device or it is not. The device installation status should surely show the number of devices that have successfully installed the app, not the number of separate installation instances by different accounts.

  20. Show or Hide Apps and Restricted Apps Pick From Drop Down List

When Selecting iOS Apps to Show, Hide and Restrict it would be good to be able to select Apps from the Client Apps list rather than having to add the bundle ID for Apps that you have already added and for easy selection of Apps such as Web Links and Line of Business Apps
