  2. Implement Call notification option for Alerts in Intune Classic portal

In Intune Classic Portal, although there is an email notification option of alerts for that when malwares were detected in PC managed under the software clients, it would be very helpful to grasp malware detections earlier if there was a call notification option.
Therefore, I hope the call alerts options will be implemented in Intune Classic portal.
    Thank you for your consideration.

  5. Enable search by IMEI under Groups/Corporate Pre-Enrolled Devices

Currently there is the ability to search for a device by serial number under Groups/Corporate Pre-Enrolled Devices. I am assuming this information comes to InTune from DEP. What would be great is to bring the same functionality to the Search by IMEI. Right now, this data is blank unless you manually enter/upload IMEI information, which is unfortunate because it could add more value to the product. As the serial number isn't always available (i.e. activation locked devices - cannot get to info on serial number in phone) the IMEI number would be the more logical piece of information to track…

  6. Microsoft Intune Device Inventory Report - Add a column for active \ inactive

When you run the report for Mobile Device Inventory Report, you get a lot of good data, however there is nothing that shows definitively that the device is Active vs Inactive.

The closest thing in the report is the column for Last Updated, which is falling short for official reporting.

Please add a column \ reporting feature for Active \ Inactive devices in the report.

In the August service update we added some improvements to the filter used by the Last Check-in Date – if you can decide what check-in date constitutes “active”, does that work? Especially when paired with the new Intune Data Warehouse feature?

  7. To publish apps with the Intune Software Publisher shouldn't require global admin rights within office 365

I logged a job with Microsoft as I wasn't able to publish apps with the Microsoft Intune Software Publisher.
The job has now been rectified with my account being granted as global administrator access rights to our Office 365 Tenant.
This is fine for me but I think this function should be a lower level intune only administrator rights not requiring full office 365 permissions to do so.

  8. Never Ending Remote Tasks

For my part I have remote tasks pending since June 2015! It sounds crazy.

An idea to get rid of "Never Ending Remote Tasks" would be to add a time out to the remote tasks request, plus, handling the times out task status in the Remote Tasks console as below:

1st option: A new status could be added to the others (Running, Queued, Completed, Failed) : "Time out". The Admin could clear the timed out tasks or select "retry"

2d Option: without adding a new tasks status. After 48H of non responding device from the remote task request, the task…

  9. Resolve bugs and make enrollment and ADmin console management easy

Q1. 'All users' section - doesnt show all users from Azure AD who has Intune license by default. it was used to. Now we have to manually add. It either shows manaully added users or the devices have any device linked. We want to see all users by default, who has Intune license.

Q2. As admin, i installed client on a PC (did not enroll). I can see the device in All devices or 'ungrouped devices' with no user linked to it.. Now, if I want to link this device to a user, it does not show the user in…

  10. Able to refresh the selected quadrant only, not the whole page

Why don't we have a quadrant refresh button inside the console so the individual location can be refresh instead of having to press F5 to repaint the whole screen. It will be very handy when managing Apps for example.

  12. Custom Privileges for Service Administrators

We have a requirement to allow some of our Service Desk and Desktop Support users to wipe a device, i.e. if it is lost or stolen, currently, a Service Administrator has only three options that can be allocated, Full Access, Read Only Access or Helpdesk groups node. While the helpdesk node covers a lot of the access we want to give to the teams there are a few additional areas we would like to grant access. Allowing custom privileges to be set or custom service admin groups to be created would be a great help, allowing us to delegate the…

  13. Windows 10 edition upgrade policies that do not apply should come back as "Not applicable"

Currently when you apply a windows Enterprise or EnterpriseN upgrade policy to devices that have the wrong sku for the policy, for example Enterprise upgrade policy on a Pro N Windows 10 device, the policy status comes back as conforms. This is misleading and confusing to users of the service. If it came back as "Not applicable" as the policy isn't applicable, then users would know they applied the wrong policy.

  14. should be able to remove devices that are hung up in the Remote Task Box

there should be some way to remove devices that are hung up in the Remote Task Box. I have multiple devices that are hung up in the Remote Task Box. I have been told the only way to remove the devices is to Retire/Wipe the device.

  16. Intune Portal configuration snapshot

The ability to take a snapshot of the configuration of the Intune Portal at a point in time would help with maintaining configuration documentation, auditability, testing, and troubleshooting.

  17. Want to be able to search for specific details in the console - 管理コンソール画面で、詳細も検索可能にしたい

In the Microsoft Intune management console, after registering Serial Numbers, you’re able to search for those serial numbers from the top-right device search box, but ONLY the serial number. Would like to be able to search on the other parameters, too.
Is the ability to search for other parameters (such as details and status) going to become available, and if so what’s the time frame that’s coming?

    Microsoft Intune

  18. All Status to "Green" on the General "Tab" confusing if no devices are in a collection.

This bring confusion to show All Status to "Green", on the General "Tab", if no devices are in a collection.
Why not just leaving "Total Device: 0" in the right "Column" in the General Tab indicating that it is empty or moving this info more in the line of sight of the user, in the middle top of the window?

  19. Link to "View Troubleshooting Information" is not helpful at all

When you click "View Troubleshooting Informaiton" you would hope to get a KB article that applies to the alert. Instead it just brings you to the "get support" page. Kinda useless.

If there are alerts with error codes there really should be a KB associated to that error and a KB that loads from the troubleshooting link.

  20. Clicking on "policy" under "source" in an alert does not take you to the policy

When you get an alert and go to that alert from the dashboard there is a link under the "source" heading with a "policy" link.

The expected behaviour is that if the error applied to a specific policy that it would take you to that policy.

What it does is just takes you to the policies section and has the top of the tree highlighted. This makes the alert useless as you don't know what policy is the culprit.

In the alerts section there should be much more information on what is going on. It tells you that a policy…

Hi, Kellan, yeah, sorry that’s frustrating. I’m going to move this from the Issues to the Ideas forum. As we’ve mentioned under the “get rid of Silverlight” request, we’re moving to the Azure console, starting with mobile app management. I don’t know how the change in framework will affect this particular issue, but we’ll get it in that queue.
    Thanks!
