  3. Allow Passcode Reset to Android for Work managed devices

Allow Passcode Reset to Android for Work managed devices. currently we want to use a secure profile on the corporate device so Android for Work is the preferred option. if user returns device and does not deliver passcode the only way to access the phone is to perform factory reset, Samsung security then requires previously used google account before allowing the phone to reset, Passcode reset would prevent this.

As of the week of March 26, 2018, you’ll be able to reset the passwords for enrolled Android 8.0 devices with Work profiles. When you send a “Reset password” request to an Android 8.0 device, it sets a new device unlock password or a managed profile challenge to the current user. The password or challenge is sent and immediately takes effect.

  4. Enrolment Restriction on Fully Managed Android

Unless I've configured this incorrectly it would seem that Fully Managed Android devices ignore the enrolment restriction policies at present.

I have tried blocking both 'Android' and 'Android for Work', but I'm assuming Fully Managed Android will be 'Android Enterprise'? It would be a useful addition for us to ensure that staff are in a particular group before the enrolment can proceed.

  6. Improve Android Hardware Inventory to include "Android Security Patch Level" in SCCM / Intune Hybrid

Current "Intune Company Portal" do not report "Android Security Patch Level" as part of the Android Hardware Inventory to SCCM in a Hybrid environment.

This is important as our security policy requires that the device must be up-to-date on Android Security Patch inorder to be "In Compliance"

From an administrative point of view it should be possible to have an overview of your Android devices to verify whom devices that has been upgraded with the latest security updates from Android.

Security Vulnerabilities are rapidly increasing for mobile devices, e.g. the previous KRACK Vulnerability. Hence it would great to…

  7. Outlook for Android Contact integration with Android for Work

    we use Android for Work,

We want our users to use Outlook on their android phones instead of let's say Gmail.

I would like an option for the outlook for android app to be able to sync it's contacts into the "contacts for work" app so that it will integrate with the dialer on the phone as well as integrate the contacts for searching and caller ID.

  8. Hide apps in the Android Enprise profiles.

It would be nice to hide apps for Android Enterprise Device Owner profiles. You can hide apps for Knox devices. with device restriction profile and it would be nice to hide apps for all Android devices, especially for Android Enterprise devices.

  9. Disable 'Multiple User' functionality of Android

I'd like to be able to disable Android users from creating secondary users and bypassing our policy restrictions.

  10. Citrix SSO VPN and App-VPN support for Android Enterprise devices.

Intune have support for Citrix SSO Vpn and App-vpn with NAC for Android devices but not for Android Enterprise devices.
Really big problem for us because we use this for IOS and Android with KNOX to day but we are moving from Android to Android Enterprise because we want to use Android Enterprise Recommended devices.

  12. Android device devicename value

It would be very great if you could provide the possibility to create a devicename for android devices in the Management console. It doesn't even have to be the real devicename what is normally something like android_ab34jfjf .... . We are using a naming concept for each device we rollout, for IOS this works fine but Android enrollment now creates a real mess. It would be just enough if you create a new variable which is editable in the App ( during rollout) and shown in the management console

  13. outlook android app contact interface needs easy alpha search bar

Outlook android app contact interface needs easy alpha search bar.
Both Android and iOS phones have an easy alpha search function, but this is absent within Outlook app for Android. Thank you.

  14. Need support for managed native Android email profiles

Outlook is great but the native Android email profiles allow great contact integration. Would love to offer up the option and support selective wipe for Android.

As of the release the week of July 2, 2018 Intune supports highly-managed, locked-down, kiosk-style Android devices with Android enterprise, formerly known as Android for Work. This allows admins to further lock down the usage of a device to a single app or small set of apps, and prevents users from enabling other apps or performing other actions on the device.
    For more information, see https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/intune/android-kiosk-enroll
I think this fulfills what you’re asking for – if there’s a particular aspect that’s missing, please open another request with the details. Thanks!

  17. Broad Android support for policies

In a BYOD world we need to be able to support any device. While this presents challenges all the way through the support process we must have support for policies on most, if not all, android models.

When configuring a new policy, select Android, Configuration, Email Profile and Custom Configuration all require specific Android devices/models. I can't support BYOD if my devices are all configured differently. I can't secure connections to my network if only 3 devices will work with the policy.

  18. Android Enterprise Factory Reset Protection

Build-in support for Android Enterprise Factory Reset Protection:

    https://developer.android.com/work/dpc/security#enable_enterprise_factory_reset_protection

This functionality is available in competing MDM products from VMware and ManageEngine.

Suggest this could be implemented as configuration which would only apply to devices marked as ownership=Corporate.

  19. Android entreprise - Disable One Lock password

It seems that by default on android entreprise when you ask for a password on the work profile only, android choose to have the same password on both personnal and work profile.. It is called the One Lock option.

Would it be possible to disable this option ?

  20. Support for line-of-business applications on Android for Work

Nowdays LOB supported is only for Android but not for Android for work, it would be fine if it will be supported too.
