  1. Decrease the interval for detecting new updates and applications.

Currently, the detection frequency for new apps and updates has a minimum value of 8 hours. This is very troublesome when enrolling PCs using group policy for the PC agent, as there is no real telling when the device will be fully updated and ready to use. The value ought to be configurable down to an "instantly" setting or at least to ½ hr.

  2. Dashboard Update Intervals

One major negative aspect of the well designed dasboard is the time it takes, until changes become visable.
Warnings and critical massages stay a very long time, which is confusing with hundrets of clients involved.

  3. Noncompliant Apps Reports feature in an environment of PC management

Although there is no update function of PC management by the agent , as in the case of the mobile device management , reporting functions of the non-compliant app I want to implement . Because it can issue a warning for the installation of apps that contrary to company policy , we believe that very convenient .

  4. Windows Update for Business (WUB) for PC Enrolled Devices

Only MDM enrolled Windows 10 devices can currently be configured with the necessary settings for WUB (Windows Update for Business). It's not good-enough for this to just apply to MDM enrolled devices currently because MDM doesn't have feature parity yet with PC enrolled managemnt.

It is just as important for Windows 10 PC enrolled devices to be able to utilize WUB instead of the traditional WSUS-like updating scheme that Intune PC Enrolled devices adhere to.

In order for PC enrolled devices to participate in WUB, the Intune agent should control Windows 10s inbox Updating Client instead of using the Intune…

  5. Intune Agent: Request for a Progress bar or Status

We're going to migrate 300 Clients to AAD and with Intune Client installed. All software will be installed through Intune.

We ask you kindly to add a Progress bar or Status to the Intune Agent on "Updates" > "Try again" or somewhere else, so the User is able to see whether the agent is doing something or not.

The current situation is, that employees are clicking "try again" over and over again and nothing seems to happen but in background intune is downloading, etc. Would be awesome if you could add this little thing as soon as possible.

    Thanks

  6. Support for "URLStringProbe" and / or "DNSServerAddressMatch" for iOS VPN on Demand in Intune Hybrid setup

We urgently require support for VPN on Demand for Apple iOS devices in a hybrid setup.
It must also support "URLStringProbe" configuration and / or "DNSServerAddressMatch"
We are using Juniper / Pulse Secure with Apple iOS (latest iOS version)

Thank you for your suggestion for Hybrid Mobile Device Management (MDM) with Intune and Configuration Manager.

As of August 14, 2018, we have announced that on September 1, 2019, we will retire the hybrid MDM service offering, so we are declining any suggestions specifically for hybrid scenarios.

We still support co-management, which enables you to concurrently manage Windows 10 devices by using both ConfigMgr and Intune.

We encourage you to start planning your migration for MDM from the ConfigMgr console to Azure and to shift your UserVoice votes to MDM features for Intune. For more information, see https://aka.ms/hybrid_notification

Thank you for your feedback, and thank you for using Intune and Configuration Manager!

  7. Mobile Devices Installed Applications - inventory APP IDs and more

Currently in Intune Hybrid only the application name and the version is inventoried as part of hardware inventory. It would be great and very helpful if this can be extended/customized, e.g. inventory of the Apple app ID (like com.myname.MyCoolApplication) and being able to decide if the app was installed via Intune or not (e.g. being manually installed by the user from Apple app store) would be great.

  8. Standardize iOS app icons with rounded edges in Company Portal

The standard way to display iOS app icons is with rounded-edged frame as seen in iOS App Store. For Android, it is a mix of rounded and squared edges. For Windows, it is square only. In the Company Portal, it is standardized to square icons. It will be good to be able to automatically display iOS app icons with rounded-edges since our developers have catered for that when creating the icons.

Hi, I talked to our design team. They say we wouldn’t change the way icons are displayed as it serves all platforms and is stays true to Microsoft patterns and design principles. With that, I’m going to mark this declined and give you your votes back.

  9. Windows 10 policy item to set Logon Disclaimer

An InTune policy item which allows you to set the legalnoticecaption and legalnoticetext group policy settings so that Intune managed mobile workstations display a logon disclaimer.

  10. manage personal computers as computers?

I wish there was some kind of support for Intune to manage personal computers as computers. I run a computer repair shop and I see lots of people falling for these scams involving overseas people offering remote managed services, but instead of offering real services, they just install fake AV software and spyware, and charge big money for it too! I'd like to offer a legitimate service that includes managed AV and "light" system monitoring (health status), and Intune seems to include this, but only for Pro versions of Windows. Can Intune not run in a limited fashion on Home…

The functionality you describe is possible using the legacy PC software client; however, this option is being deprecated and will be going end of life on October 15, 2020.

    See: aka.ms/Intune_silverilght_console

If you’re still looking for more MDM options for PCs running Windows 10 Home, I recommend filing feedback with the Windows team.

  11. Ensure that Intune Client does not randomly disappear during installations

Currently, the Intune PC Client randomly disappears on our Windows 10 UI during installations leaving users guessing whether the client was ever installed in the first place or was suddenly removed. Only by checking Details in the Task Manager, the process clientui.exe (also not very telling) can be identified to still be running.

Please make sure that this client becomes more transparent, not just in terms of download progress, but also actual runtime.

  12. Ability to perform Office365 updates through Intune

Believe this feature does not exist currently. We need to have the ability to update Office 365 updates through Intune with better control. Hope am not overloooking any feature which allows us do this currently.

  13. Deployment Monitoring, Management and Reporting

More visibility for mobile deployments. Error and logging information is generic in Hybrid Intune\SCCM environment. Need granular detail on the results of deployments what failed and what was successful. Need to see deployment status at the device level. We can currently see the status of policy profiles, need the same for deployments.

  14. Migrate hybrid tenants to the Azure portal

There are still a few portions of the Hybrid configuration that require using the web portal. Can you migrate existing hybrid tenants to the Azure portal so we can perform these actions without requiring Silverlight?

Not sure how to mark this one. At this point it’s not really a question of migrating hybrid tenants to Azure, since we announced deprecation of hybrid configurations. But we did move all MDM functionality from Silverlight to Azure in preparation for removing MDM from the Silverlight console, so it’s sort of complete. I’m just going to call it declined, but either way there are solutions now, and you get your votes back.

We support co-management, which enables you to concurrently manage Windows 10 devices by using both ConfigMgr and Intune.

  15. Allow us to manage GPOLS from Intune on windows 10 devices and deploy apps automatically!

So Basically I want to get the best of both "mobile and "devices" I don't see why I'm either able to deploy apps with the intune client and not be able to control the device (e.g. remove logon pin) or vice-versa! My suggestion is a windows 10 device can utilize both app deployment and the "policy" section of intune AT THE SAME TIME. I consider this fundamental to getting away from having to have any on prem infrastructure and still have viable PC management.

  16. Is Microsoft Intune also coming to Azure Stack?

If you can deploy Microsoft Intune in the Azure Stack portal and install SCCM on a server in the Azure Stack environmentl, you can manage mobile devices via an private cloud.

I’m not sure what you mean by “Intune coming to Azure Stack”. At some point after you posted this, we did move the Intune back end onto Azure fabric. You can read more about that here: https://cloudblogs.microsoft.com/enterprisemobility/2018/06/12/how-we-built-rebuilt-intune-into-a-leading-globally-scaled-cloud-service/

Also at some point we started supporting running Configuration Manager in Azure – here’s some detail on that:
    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sccm/core/understand/configuration-manager-on-azure

But device management has still been via the public Internet.

I’m going to mark this declined and return your votes to you.
    Thanks!

  17. Intune Agent with support for Security Compliance baseline check

Azure Security Center allows you with the agent aswell as SCOM to enable a Security Compliance baseline check created by the SCM. I wish this feature was also enabled for domain joined devices with the intune agent installed.

Thus allowing us to make adjustment to the baseline, and verify its compliance.

  18. Add iOS10 support to SCCM v1602

We run Intune & SCCM v1602 hybrid and if we enrol an iOS10 device the email configuration does not arrive.
Microsoft added iOS 10 compatibility to SCCM v1606 only.
I would like the iOS 10 compatibility to be added to older versions of SCCM since staying on the very latest is a challenge to our business.

The ability to sync Apple VPP B2B Apps to SCCM and Intune hybrid. Intune standalone can support it and we need this for SCCM.

  20. O365 MDM via SCCM/Intune hybrid

We would like to take advantage of the O365 MDM available with E1/3/5 subscriptions for potential BYOD users - ideally this would be via SCCM, but could also be via the admin center. I am told it is not possible currently, due to SCCM being our MDM authority, which we wish to maintain as our Corp owned devices are fully managed.
