Windows 10 Upgrades (1511) via Intune
The Windows 10 1511 Upgrade is not available via Intune. We use Intune as our Update Management platform (small business).
I thought that the Windows update functionality in Intune should be like a WSUS in the Cloud. With peer-Distribution in Windows 10 and in Intune before it should be possible to not overload our Internet line.
If this should not work by design then please Microsoft state clearly which of your products is designed for which Scenario.
On October 16, 2019, we announced that support for the Intune PC software client (PC agent) will end on October 15, 2020, along with the Silverlight-based Intune Classic console. You should plan to move to use the MDM channel to manage your Windows PCs as soon as possible. Learn more: https://aka.ms/intune_silverlight_console
HAs this been resolved. We also need the upgrade urgently.

Be able to place Windows 10 enrolled devices in different rings, similar to controls in SCCM, to be able to control the branch that they are on.
Currently not aware of a way to control this once Windows Updates are managed via Intune.

This would be great. I would like to be able to use Computer Groups in Intune to assign computers to "rings". For example, I would like an IT Computers group and a pilot computers group. Updates should be auto-approved for IT and be installed with a very short deadline. A few days later, I would like updates to be approved for pilot computers with a moderate deadline. Finally, a few days after the pilot users' deadline, I would like updates to be approved for all computers with a moderate deadline.
Add ability to auto approve updates to pilot (test) computer group and in two weeks to all other computers
