Mac OS X Software Updates
Ability to manage updating of OS X would be a phenomenal improvement. Should include enforcement, policies, and reporting. It would be a huge bonus if this could also handle upgrades so we could block old versions of OS X.
ok, this is noted, meaning we know you want it, but don’t have anything more to say at this point.

The feature now appears in "in-development", is there any ETA?

Intune now has the ability to add an update delay restriction to MacOS.

Part of this will be added to the MDM spec in 10.14
Managed OS Updates
iOS and macOS will allow the administrator to specify a specific OS version for a device to update to. Previously, an OS version could not be specified.
Please allow the ability to manage software updates on systems running macOS the same way that you can with Windows systems. Intune has GREAT potential but is very limited in the world of macOS while other MDM products can perform this functionality.
Any ETA when this feature would be implemented

Hi Cathy, we actually want to see the ability to manage Apple's Software Updates. I think its great that we'll be able to manage Microsoft AutoUpdate, but that's not what was intended with this request.
Please add the ability to automate the installation of updates that show up in the App Store, including macOS version updates. This feature would allow us to install these updates without having to physically touch each macOS device.
