Hybrid Intune/SCCM client
Have the intune PC client and SCCM client merge. This would allow one client install for devices that are BYOD or Domain joined. This could also eliminate the IBCM setup in SCCM and allow for more accurate patch compliance and application deployments for customers world widewith mobile workforces. The would also not force the customer to choose if a machine goes Intune or SCCM. Inside a domain its 100% SCCM, external to domain it would leverage intune for patching and applications. An option in the console could also be set where you could create a collection and specify if you want a client to be 100% intune on or SCCM (SCCM Client policy effectively) if you want to set a defined method for a client.
I’m going to call this one declined, since we’ve outlined our strategy for co-management using BOTH the ConfigMgr full client and the Intune MDM client at the same time. Merging the clients wouldn’t make sense given the strategy we discussed at Ignite 2017 https://channel9.msdn.com/events/Ignite/Microsoft-Ignite-Orlando-2017/BRK3009?term=ignite%202017%20intune%20configuration%20manager

I would definitely support something like this... we use the SCCM client for many purposes but would like to use our MDM (3rd party) to provide email access on mobile laptops while outside the domain. There would be no clash of management there for us and I'm guessing some others might appreciate this too
