Allow mobile device that don't fully support ... reports may not conform
This label may be misleading. It may mean "Encryption is required, but this windows tablet doesn't support it, so it is allowed access via the 'Allow devices which can't support something' rule. But the what I see is a device where the ability to allow devices which don't support [etc] may not conform.
I’m not sure where in the UI you are. You should be able to attach a picture to the post and show me what label you’re talking about. If you could give the repro steps, starting from the very beginning of what you’re trying to do, that will give me the context I need.
Hi, James, I've read through the reply several times and I'm still not quite grokking what you're doing, what you expect to happen, and what is actually happening. Is it that the Win10 home can't do what you are expecting? Windows 10 Home does support very limited MDM capabilities. Intune is able to manage Windows 10 Home. Many of the CSPs (configuration service providers) are disabled on Home version, and if Intune tries to push these to Home devices, these CSPs will fail. This is by design. Could that be the root of it?

The device is a windows 10 home-edition tablet.
It is subject to a configuration policy in which "Require Encryption on Mobile Device" and "Allow Mobile devices that don't fully support these settings to Synchronize with Exchange" are both turned on.
When we look at any device, on the Policy "Allow mobile devices that don't fully support Exchange Active Sync Settings to Synchronize with Exchange" is listed as an option. In the case of the Windows Tablet, because it does not have bitlocker there is no encryption so "Require Encryption on mobile device" shows as "May not conform", which is expected. But the "Allow mobile devices that don't fully support Exchange Active Sync Settings to Synchronize with Exchange" also shows as "May not conform".
So how does one change the device to make it conform with "Allow mobile devices that don't fully support Exchange Active Sync Settings to Synchronize with Exchange" ?
