How can we improve Microsoft Intune

Copy/Clone/Duplicate Device Configuration Profile

When we inevitably need to create a new Device Configuration Profile for an employee with slightly different needs than the rest of the group we must recreate an entire profile from scratch for just the smallest difference, such as longer screen lockout time. If we could duplicate/clone/copy an existing Device Configuration Profile it would save time and potential errors.

This really should be added. This seems like a basic feature that should be available out of the box with intune. We switched from Maas360 recently and this feature saved us a ton of time!

Agreed on the copying, importing and exporting. Would also help with versioning policies, change management, and documentation,

would love to have a feature to export and also import policy configurations, especially when moving between environments or cloning policies for different customers/tenants.

Just getting into setting up Intune in our environment and was very surprised that I was not able to copy the default device restrictions profile to use for other assignments. Seems like a pretty logical option to have so admins can copy a baseline and work off of that.

I agree. Should also be possible to export policies via powershell for backup scenarios.

Definitely require this feature as it saves time having to constantly create new profiles.

Totally agree, when new feature come out how are you meant to stage / test without cloning and limiting the audience as you would with any GPO updates?

Seconded, this is a huge PITA as we roll out further changes each time needing to keep a copy.
Two features would be greatly appreciated, one to clone and existing profile and another to make a change and have a save as option.
