Ability to update specific VPP app on one device or more
Right now, only option is to enable/disable VPP automatic app updates. This will update all VPP apps on ALL iOS devices. If there's a problematic app, then most devices will be affected, if not all.
It would be great if Intune will have the ability to update a specific VPP app on specific iOS device(or group).
This feature is already available on other MDMs.

Why hasn't Microsoft even acknowledge this post. This feature is crucial, a on off switch isnt enough ,when nearly all other MDMs have this feature.

Any response, Microsoft??? This is critical and don't know, how this is not effecting hospitals and similar branches. if there is no solution or plan, I need to drop Intune and look otherwise for my customers!

I just can't understand, why this is still not in development. We also have a few external services, which requires to control the version of an app, because if we update one without the other, the whole system can't work... And this on 14 locations! So we need to control, when we update the app... It's shouldn't be that hard, or am I wrong? Dear Intune Team, please develop that for us, without that the complete endpoint management is meaningless...

Has anyone heard from Microsoft? This is a critical issue for us as we need to have manual control over key applications while allowing others to auto update.

Need granular app update control for app integrated with our EMR. While not impacting entire hospital system

Agree with everyone that it is essential to control updates of VPP apps. An update now for singular and/or to a group would be AWESOME!

it is all of nothing. -

This is a definite must for my organization. Our legacy MDM offers this feature. I'd like to hear what is on MS roadmap for a per app update option.

Any update on this? Being able to control app updates is essential in some customer scenarios!

This is definitely a value add. On top of that, it would be great to have the option to update a specific VPP app to specific assignments for the app. This way it would allow to test for potential issues in the app and only allow the update to move forward to the other assignments if it passes QA/validation tests.

Definitely a needed feature, we have users that have problems since for example Outlook starts autoupdating while on Wifi, but then user leaves the wifi coverage and goes to cellular and update does not finish and they can not use the outlook app until they connect to another wifi for the update to finish.

I can not believe that this doesn't have more votes.
It would be great to have the option on an application individual basis to turn on/off the update option, either within Intune (Azure) or on the VPP portal.
We recently run into the problem that a developer updated a VPP published live app, and it affected over 100 users - basically the ones what used it.
Due heavy customization on our site, we were not able to test before the roll-out and it resolved into a big business impact.
So, we could maybe receive the IPA file from the developer or get the app from the Apple Store, but this would be counterproductive and adds a lot of manual work.

This would be a very useful functionality to add in Intune. AirWatch has this ability.

This function exactly our end user needed! We checked AirWatch and other MDM service and this function already available.

This is HUGE for us as well. Devices have multiple VPP apps, only one or two require an update. We don't want the others to update, also.
