Allow App configuration policies for device-enrolled devices
Currently, App configuration policies are only applicable for user-enrolled devices.
We use Android Enterprise (Android for Work) enrollment profiles on tablets and Smartphones to assign a Kiosk profile. However, there is no way to configure app settings that would are really important to a kiosk device (e.g. Managed browser home page & allowed sites or Managed Home Screen admin unlock).

Please enable this feature, we now have Edge as an assigned browser to Android dedicated device, but without this feature it really is not possible to restrict the browser usage

Please make it possible to set homepage and blacklist/whitelist URLs on Android Enterprise Corporate-owned dedicated devices. Currently Edge browser's blacklist/whitelist setup requires App Protection Policies, which require a user-enrollment.. :(

It's a real show stopper for a kiosk device not able to set a homepage in a browser because these settings are user-policies.

had a call with Microsoft support telling me that this is not possible which is infuriating. The main point of a kiosk device is to be able to lock it down and I should be able to specify URL Whitelists & Blacklists etc.

Yes, I have confirmation from Microsoft support that the App Configuration Policy, App Protection Policy and the URL white listing and black listing features do not work on KIOSK/Corp owned device enrollments. This is the core functionality of an MDM system and it only works on the BYOD enrollments. While getting this functionality working the existing documentation should be changed to notify both users and the InTune support staff that the documented features do not work under two of the three enrollment styles.
