The InTune Company Portal app does not display the correct Version Number for Windows LOB Apps
When I upload a custom MSI file to the InTune Admin UI, it stores the version number that is embedded into the MSI file (i.e. 18.104.22.16830), but when the app is displayed in the Company Portal app on an enrolled device, the version number displayed is not the same as the MSI version number.
The version number displayed in the InTune Company Portal app appears to be related to the number of times the MSI file has been uploaded to the LOB App record in the InTune Admin UI. The first time I upload an MSI, the version number displayed to end users is "1", and when I upload a new version of the LOB app MSI file, the end user sees a "2", and so on...
This appears to be a bug in the product, can you please confirm whether this is the expected behavior, or if there is a bug in the product?
