Search, sort, and/or filter on any column in a view in the console
Please make the UI so that we can search, sort, and/or filter on any column in a view in the console? For instance I want an easy way to filter to see only apps that are for Windows, or only apps that are Line of Business, of only WSfb.... etc.
Hi, thanks for supporting this issue in UserVoice. What would really help here is to get a list of the views that are still NOT searchable, sortable, or filterable. We’re going to have to approach this one view by view. In https://devicemanagement.microsoft.com/ please either give me the full path to navigate to the screen you’re talking about, or post a screen shot (and be sure to blur any names or identifying info before posting).

Cathy, you can't be serious in asking users to point out each and every column that lacks this incredibly basic functionality that has been on nearly every other platform since the 90's. Columns that are not sortable are scattered throughout the Endpoint Manager Admin Center with no apparent rhyme or reason. I'll give you one example: App Install Status screen. The admin center tells you there is one device with an app installation failure. But then you have to manually scroll down through hundreds of records looking for the "1" in the column of 0's to find the problem device because there is no way to sort or filter that column. This is EXTREMELY frustrating. There are other columns in other views lacking this functionality scattered throughout and it makes getting usable data nearly impossible in some cases. It would be great if instead of putting the burden on paying customers of pointing out the locations of broken basic functionality of the product, that instead Microsoft could take the initiative to do the research themselves and proactively fix it for the people who are paying for a modern product with at least the most basic functionality for gathering actionable data.
One view that frustrates me that isn't sortable is membership of a group. The users are in some random order, and you can't sort them. Looks like this view/list is in preview so maybe it will be sortable in GA. https://devicemanagement.microsoft.com/#blade/Microsoft_AAD_IAM/GroupDetailsMenuBlade/Members/groupId/

Hi Cathy, the original reason for raising this in January 2019 was that it was impossible to search within a group to find whether a name was present. For example, Azure AD > Groups > <groupname> > Members.
However, I now see that the new preview Groups allows you to dom exactly that. So, I guess this can be closed now.
Also: be able to search on multiple terms. ie in the search bar type in my search terms as "iOS, Android" to get any results that fit either or both terms...
Am now having to prefix the names on applications with their OS (ie, Win10 - App Name) so I can quickly clean up a view with a search of "win10".
But unfortunately this then shows up in the company portal and just looks messy.
