Change Date format for Intune managed devices (e.g. device last check-in time)
On Intune Portal, date format of Last check-in time of Intune managed devices is always in US format, even if the Regional format on Azure Portal settings is modified (Intune -> Devices -> All devices -> Select any device). The the Regional format works for AAD devices and all the other Intune policies and profiles.
The default US date format really brings confusion, since in New Zealand, the month is in middle rather than at the first place.
Would be nice to change date format to NZ.
I'll also throw my voice to this, would really like an easy way to change this.
Same issue for UK localisation.
Regardless of what Regional Format I use in the MEM-AC, I always end up with the MM/DD/YYYY configuration. In addition the clock is set to AM/PM, instead of 24H format. At the moment I use English (Europe), but even if I switch to Deutschland (for example), the formatting remains the same.
There are tons of users complaining about this.
Enterprise reporting suffers because of this and administrators' comfort.
Is there an estimation when this will be fixed?
I overcame this challenge by scripting regional settings with PowerShell :D .. but yes, this is extremely important! We just can't have the EN-US time format or other regional settings everywhere all the world. This bug lies behind Windows 10 installation program. Have you installed manually Win10 for home use, without MS account? You will be supprised :)
Couldn't agree more, I just came to UserVoice to log the same issue... glad to see you've already logged it! No comment from the Intune team though, boooo. Come on guys, we're not all based in the US.
