Unable to clear running/queued remote tasks. Some have been pending for over two months in our portal as the PCs are unreachable.
We have several workstations that have been offline for a while, some are remote and some could be in storage.
There are still remote tasks attempting to run against them (running/queued) that I cannot clear. So when they do finally come back online some may have a pending restart or full malware scan that is not longer needed.
Yup, you are right. And the good news is, we have a bug fix coming. The bad news is, the bug fix will prevent this from happening after we roll it out, but it won’t undo the state you’re already in. Sorry about that!
I’m hearing that the engineers aren’t able to fix this on the back end at this time. I’ve pinged the product team again on this to see if there’s anything we can work out to fix anything that was there prior to the fix.
Can you implement a feature that allows you to manually delete pending remote tasks from the GUI?

3 years since this was reported and still there is no solution. Hope to see some work done on this soon as this is required by organizations for reporting / audit purposes.
We have successfully "Factory Reset" devices (only know this to be true because we have possession of the devices) but the status still shows "Wipe Pending" in our Intune Portal.
When will this be resolved?
I too am having this issue. Devices within Intune that I've marked for retirement but can't free from MDM.

We have this issue too. There are actions that are pending forever. It's been years since this issue was logged. Are there any updates?
Having the same issue and because of those pending actions, the latest action won't apply.

I opened a support ticket and it was never corrected
I have this issue too. It is very frustrating seeing those old tasks. I have one dated back to Jan 2014.
Is this ever going to get fixed?

Completely unacceptable. We can't clear these "stuck" tasks? I know one way to clear them, and save a boat load of money.

Cathy. This doesn't work. Just got off the phone with Support and they told me tough luck they're going to stay there forever. Is there a plan to fix it? I've got entries in here from December 2015.
I have this problem, but your link takes me to the page but clicking the link to create a support case gives me "Error 404...."
