Allow Bulk actions on devices
I would like to see bulk actions for devices in Intune. For example select more than one device and have action like on a single device (as in the menu under the "more" button). This could be Sync, Restart, Quick Scan, Full Scan or Update signatures. I would leave Factory reset or Fresh start as a single device action only. Please consider!

Email alerts notifications for Intune in Azure portal
The classic Intune portal allows administrators to set up email notifications. For example, if a computer has a malware detection, a definition is outdated, or a scan hasn't been done in a while. The Intune Azure portal has no functionality for notifications, so enrolled devices could have issues - malware, compliance etc, but an administrator would have to review the inventory of devices to be made aware

allow admins to customize non-compliance notification with variables
Ability to use variables in the template that would enable more specific content to be sent to the client (i.e. reason for device non-compliance, device name, OS etc). with the Automate actions for noncompliance.
in this way, end user can make their device comliance without contact IT and it will more conviniently.227 votes -
Azure Intune - Allow to sort devices by any collumn
In the Azure Intune portal you can filter devices by whatever column, but you can't sort by anything other than device name.
I would personally find it very helpful to be able to sort by email address or OS version without exporting it and loading up excel.200 votes -
Show last logged in user more easily
I basically have no idea whose computer is whose in my lists, our names are generic, but showing the last logged in user on that main devices list would usually tell me enough.

Intune: Filter for managed Apps
Hi Team,
please add a filter option for managed apps in Intune.
The actual view is confusing, especially if you have more than a few apps.
It would be very helpful to have filters for iOS / Android / Windows.
Thanks a lot.
Cheers,
Thorsten

Search, sort, and/or filter on any column in a view in the console
Please make the UI so that we can search, sort, and/or filter on any column in a view in the console? For instance I want an easy way to filter to see only apps that are for Windows, or only apps that are Line of Business, of only WSfb.... etc.
107 votesHi, thanks for supporting this issue in UserVoice. What would really help here is to get a list of the views that are still NOT searchable, sortable, or filterable. We’re going to have to approach this one view by view. In https://devicemanagement.microsoft.com/ please either give me the full path to navigate to the screen you’re talking about, or post a screen shot (and be sure to blur any names or identifying info before posting).

Move all Intune built-in roles to Azure AD roles / custom roles
Add support to manage Intune built-in roles with Azure AD Custom RBAC roles and provide support for Azure PIM. Better governance of role and access across the Microsoft 365 platform is a much needed thing. Azure AD have tried to centralize the governance of roles and access assignment, but the different product groups keeps adding custom roles within their products for what ever reason.
Product group:
Consider reaching out to Stuart and Vince to the Azure AD product group to hear about what they are doing in regards to custom roles in Azure AD:https://feedback.azure.com/forums/169401-azure-active-directory/suggestions/12868950-rbac-for-aad

Remove or Uninstall Option For Email, Wi-Fi, & VPN Profiles
It would be great just to have an option to remove profiles from a device without having to fully retire a device. I know certain profiles will not even be removed even after a select wipe depending on the platform.

Option to assign device to group
There are a handful of options when looking at a device, like "Create group for device", but not to assign the device to a group. Currently, you have to go into the group and then assign the device.
This is would be the same in AD, as adding the user to a group, but not being able to group to a user !
So, a request to have a right click or menu item, when focused on the device, for "add to existing group"95 votes -
Allow Exclusion Assignment Option for Powershell Scripts
When assigning a powershell script through the device configuration blade, there is no way to create exclusion rules as there is in application deployments.
As there is no support for exclusion logic for groups in AAD, this leaves you with no way to control deployment of scripts via dynamic groups. My test scenario involved having a group of "unmanaged devices" and a dynamic group that contained all devices with windows 10 1709 installed.
I wanted to deploy the script to all devices in the dynamic group but also exclude any that were also a member of the "unmanaged devices" group.

Enlarge the map scale displayed when locating a device with Intune “Locate Device” feature
After we set [Lost Mode] in Intune, when searching a lost device, it is very hard to know the exact location of the device because the map scale cannot be enlarged. When performing Locate Device in a location we could enlarge the map enough to be able to identify each building by changing display to overview map, however, the overview map was greyed out depending on the location.
We confirmed that other MDM managements can enlarge the map scale to specify the location of lost devices according to our original purpose.
For that reasons, we request you to implement the…80 votes -
Auto Selective Wipe When an Account is closed.
When an end user account is set to auto-expire, this will also perform a selective wipe on the end user devices on the date/time the expiration was set.
79 votes@TheScreamingRichard – If you can do it in the UI, you can do it with Graph – we build the UI entirely on top of Graph. :-)
This page has the remote actions
https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/graph/docs/api-reference/beta/resources/intune_devices_remoteactionThere’s one member called
factoryResetand there’s a different member called
removeCompanyDatathere’s also one called
factoryResetKeepEnrollmentDataI’m assuming it’s one of those you’d be able to call for a Graph-based solution, though our Graph people are all at Build this week so if that’s not what you need I can ask them when they get back.

Searching ability by EMEI or Phone Number
We need searching ability by EMEI or Phone Number. Now, I can search by only Device Name. Changing device name is not possible under current console.

Scope for Intune Roles should also control which devices they can see
When assigning remote control tasks för an Intune Role and setting a scope they can see all the devices but can only control the devices in the scope. I would like it if they couldn't even see the devices that's not in the scope.

Group Management Property to show InTune policy assignment
Within Azure AD Admin Console you can lookup a group and see its License Assignment, App Assignment and Azure Resources Assignment.
It would be great to see Intune Policy Assignment here too. That way we could see where a group was actually being use to assign policies within Intune

Change Date format for Intune managed devices (e.g. device last check-in time)
On Intune Portal, date format of Last check-in time of Intune managed devices is always in US format, even if the Regional format on Azure Portal settings is modified (Intune -> Devices -> All devices -> Select any device). The the Regional format works for AAD devices and all the other Intune policies and profiles.
The default US date format really brings confusion, since in New Zealand, the month is in middle rather than at the first place.

Intune: Add multiple Policies / Configurations / Apps to a group
Today it is very hard to add multiple policies / configurations / apps to groups.
Please provide us with checkboxes to apply a set of polices to a group, instead of doing this one by one. This would be a huge improvement in UI.
Thank you!
With best regards,
Thorsten
