  1. Support Edge Chromium in Kiosk Mode

Currently the only supported browsers supported for Kiosk scenarios are Legacy Edge and Kiosk Browser.
it would make a lot of sense and can expand many possibilities to allow Edge Chromium as a supported browser for Kiosk, especially when it's going to be integrated in the OS

  2. should be able to adjust the default Kiosk Browser Zoom setting

The new Kiosk Browser (Now in Public Preview) is a good solution for W10 Kiosk machine. But it would be great if it's possible to adjust the default zoom. We use very large touchscreens and now have to continuously adjust the zoom manually and is a show-stopper

  3. Disable Web browsing Adult content via the managed browser policy.

Hi, I need to make staff at a school Compliance ready by disabling the browsing of Adult content within a mixture of smartphones.
I have enabled a managed browser app so far and disabled Safari.
However, can't see anything that will do the job so far.

  5. Managed Browser for Windows Phone

Managed Browser is not currently available for Windows Phone, currently this is stopping a client switching 500 Android Tablets to Windows Phone devices.

  6. Maintain Managed Browser - Edge users can bypass Azure settings

We are told that Managed Browser is being phased out in favor of Edge.

We are trying to manage internet and URL access - which Managed Browser readily allowed, but Edge does not. On Edge, users can pivot to a "New inPrivate tab" to bypass Azure settings limiting URL access.

Edge does NOT replicate Managed Browser functionality in this regard.

Managed Browser needs ongoing support, but with enhancements. We cannot, for example, enable Yammer as one of the permitted URLs.

  7. Block all browsers in Mobile Devices except Managed Browser

Currently, we can block access to Office 365 from mobile devices' browsers. However, it would be good to create an exception to Managed Browser.

  8. Prevent copy-paste between managed domains and unmanaged domains

Intune supports restrictions to prevent sharing/pasting of information from managed apps into unmanaged apps on the same device.

We need something similar for Managed Browsers to prevent that sensitive information is copied from a company webapp into an unamanged site (e.g. pastebin, disucssions forums, webmail, etc).

This could be implemented by Managed Browser to be managed domains aware and not allow copy-pastes from:
    - content from other managed apps into fields on unmanaged domains in manged browser
    - content from managed domains in managed browser into fields on unmanaged domains in managed browser

  9. Allow ITs ability to change the Prompt/Notification message in managed browser

Is it possible to allow the ITs the ability to change the prompt/notification message in Managed Browser.

For example, in the attached screenshot, the Learn Mode button should be removed (as its showing how to get it to enable at Intune Level documentation which users not necessary to know this)

The ability for ITs to change the prompt/notification content would be very helpful and easy for ITs to manage these apps and end user's experience

  10. Regex for Allowed websites in Kiosk browser settings

Being able to use regex in the uploaded csv file for Allowed websites, would significantly simplify the file creation and shorten the file.

  11. Don't require Sign In to the Edge browser in order for Edge to be recognized as the managed browser

On Android for Work (perhaps Android too), the Edge browser will not be recognized as the managed browser until the user signs into it. If a user is not signed in and they click on a web link in an email to open the site, if the user is not logged in, the phone will prompt to install the Intune Managed Browser even though Edge is installed. Once a user signs into the Edge browser, the workflow works as expected. Just having Edge installed should be enough to launch it as the managed browser. People don't read documentation, so user…

  12. Managed Browser Office 365 Group Support for IOS, Android

Currently, My users cannot to access Office 365 Mail Groups from Managed Browser. They need to access their Office 365 group mails from Mobile Phone.
Outlook app is not good solution for us today. Because Outlook app does not support read/unread mail function on Mobile platform.

Please, add to support Office 365 Mail Group access on Managed Browser.

    Thanks

  13. Please add this feature "ephemeral-tab" (as seen in chrome flags) to MS Edge

Please add this feature "ephemeral-tab" (as seen in chrome flags) to MS Edge.
That means a User can click on a link and peek into the tab without leaving the current tab.

  14. Managed Browser and SharePoint Search Bar

Can you please make the search box stay open on SharePoint? It makes the product unusable with any SharePoint site. You have to wait 15 seconds for the page to completely load (even though its visibly loaded) until you can type in anything in search.

  15. Microsoft should make the Citrix netscaler gateway supporting intune browser traffic a standard offering with Azure.

Many companies have internal sites and apps that do not support modern authentication. The Netscaler can perform that function on behalf of incoming mobile Intune managed browser/Edge traffic. This solution would be a nice option instead of Azure app proxy and help customer bridge until all sites are modern auth ready. If this Citrix gateway solution were bundled with the Microsoft Intune solution, many other companies would deploy the solution.

  16. allow pop-ups in Edge from a specific URL intune

allow pop-ups in Edge from a specific URL in Intune. I know that it is something we need to check with Edge browser team but it will be really great to have this within Intune. Please suggest Edge team to include this feature so we admins can use this feature

  17. Don't navigate to about:blank when clicking a tel: link

I have found the following inconsistency between the Intune Managed Browser and other mobile browsers. It’s regarding links of the type href=”tel:”.

When clicking a link of the type href=”tel:”, InTune Managed Browser opens a new window with “about:blank” in the address field, and then opens the dialer app. This causes the user to see a blank page when returning to the browser after completing the call.

Other browsers does not open a new window, they only open the dialer app – both other mobile browsers and also desktop browsers does this.

It would be great if the InTune Managed…

  18. show defined homepage of Edge browser in mobile app as working in Managed Browser

If a homepage is set for mobile Edge Browser app, this page should be shown on app startup and not the start page with search bar & the list of frequently accessed sites with defined homepage as icon in the top left-handed corner.
Also when tapping the home symbol in the browser the defined homepage should be shown instead of the start page.

  20. Change the managed browser restriction policy to allow for alternative managed browsers

The Intune Managed Browser is pretty bare bones.

Intune provides iOS and Android SDKs to create managed apps, so the SDKs could be used to implement other managed browsers (i.e. a browser that implements the copy/paste restriction policies, etc.)

But the managed browser restriction policy is just a boolean, you can either require managed browser for links in managed apps or not. So you can't specify an alternative managed browser.

Why not change the managed browser restriction policy so that it allows you to specify a managed browser of your choice? This way others in the ecosystem could use the…
