  1. Device GeoLocation and Map Overlay View of All Devices.

The majority of other MDM/PC management solutions allow for GeoLocation of all managed devices without the need to set a lost mode or alert the end user. This is a fairly basic feature and required for services such as fleet tracking and managing field workers/dispatch.

I'd like to see an all devices view that overlays device GeoLocation on Map and for all types of devices that support some form of GeoLocation (AGPS, GPS, WiFi/Skyhook) as well as an option to manually request device location to be updated or device to check-in without alerting the end-users.

    The current Lost Mode for…

  2. Lock Location Services

Once Location Services are enable during initial setup, disable the ability for the user to access the location services or turn it off since the Settings app cannot be hidden or restricted.

  3. Event trigger to change policy like Camera on/off when on/off duty

Anxiously desired feature to change policies triggered by event like NFC, Bluetooth, GPS, geo fencing or even an managed app. This is the TOP 1 frequently asked functions in BYOD scenario where employees needs to work in control area like manufacture, foundry, factory with IP rights protection. For example, IT needs to disable employee's camera on their BYOD cellphone in control area, but need to enable camera while employee is off duty leaving control area. Two management profiles locally and if the switching can be triggered by NFC/Bluetooth/managed app button may be needed to avoid users having no constant internet…

I’m not understanding the part about being triggered by NFC/Bluetooth/managed app button. Are you thinking users would swipe in or out with their phone? We’ve been discussing various geofencing and geolocation scenarios. Could on duty/off duty be a function of timing? Or timing plus location?

  4. How to use the Do Not Disturb while driving feature

Push Do Not Disturb while driving feature through the policy configurations

  5. Geotracking and Geofencing Capabilities

The UN needs a built in capability in Intune that can track your mobile device's location (real-time movements) based on GPS, WiFi, etc. to monitor staff movement especially in dangerous territory.

Should be able to show the device's geo coordinates and have the ability to create reports to track where your device has been over a given time (historical reporting).

Second, the UN has a need for geofencing or the ability to create a virtual boundary or means to define a geographical area to alert us when staff enters or exits a particular geographical boundary set by the security official.…

Hi, Tomer, right now we don’t include that, but I converted your question to a suggestion to do that and filed it in our “fencing” category for features activated or deactivated based on physical or temporal conditions like location or time.

Also, a great place to ask questions from the community is the TechNet Forums. It’s more geared towards discussion than UserVoice, which is more of a suggestion box. Many of our wonderful MVPs read the posts there and help answer questions about Intune

  8. Push & Remove an AirPrint Profile based on office/location

taken from Nick's comments on this one

Geo-Fenced profiles would be really useful, the Camera scenario has been sited here a couple of times; I have a couple of other use cases.
    1. Printers - Pushing & Removing an AirPrint Profile based on office/location
    2. Screenlocks - Relaxing controls whilst in a secure location, say the screen lock timer to 60mins, but when the device leaves winding back up to 5mins.
