  1. Intune/Autopilot Windows Updates

When deploying a device with Autopilot, they come shipped with older versions of Windows (1703). Some policies are only compatible with later versions of Windows. It would be great if Intune/Autopilot could initiate that OS update as part of the deployment.

  2. "What If" simulator for autopilot

Similar to the "What if" analyzer for conditional access, it would be nice for AutoPilot in the Intune portal (or Business Store mgmt function) to get information about a specific device, to see what Autopilot and intune policies should be applied to it if that device were to be reset/re-enrolled right now.

Currently having difficulty with autopilot for a couple machines, but not sure what profile is supposed to be applied or why it's not working. I like how AAD added their "What if" analyzer and think Intune/Autopilot could benefit from something similar.

  3. Deploy Apps and Configurations during autopilot process only

If converting existing devices to autopilot, it would be great to have only certain configuration policies and application deployments to only apply during the autopilot process,

At the moment, if I try to convert existing devices to autopilot and then use the standard dynamic all autopilot devices group, existing devices receive policy, which is dangerous for policies such as domain joining (hybrid).

Same thing applies to newly built devices via autopilot, any changes to the existing profiles get applied to existing machines.

  4. Proxy Support for AutoPilot

Windows AutoPilot should prompt for proxy configuration if after establishing a connection there is still no internet access. This would allow enrolling AutoPilot devices on the corporate network and use hybrid join.

I think this feature should be implemented really quick as there are a lot of enterprises waiting for that.

  5. autopilot assign device to users in bulk

It's very nine to be able to assign devices to Users in Autopilot. I would like assign devices to users in bulk (directly in the CSV autopilot import file och with Powershell.
    'Thanks

  6. Delete bulk Autopilot devices by using a CSV for example.

When a bunch of hardware gets replaced by new hardware, the old hardware has to be removed from Autopilot.

We can add devices in bulk to autopilot, but we cannot remove devices from autopilot in bulk.

Currently I have 40 devices I need to remove one at a time. Please add bulk removal of devices based on a csv.

  7. AutoPilot Support for Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC

We're in a situation where we need to use Win 10 Enterprise Iot LTSC for a Kiosk deployment. We can't use self-deploying profiles because of a TPM device attestation bug in 1809 so we must use user-driven deployment, but we can't because of the lack of DEM support for AutoPilot. Rendering AutoPilot completely useless in our scenario.

Support for Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC is surely a must have!

    Allowing DEM support for Autopilot:

  8. Autopilot specific Partner, (CSP) role.

We would love to have our reseller automatically register our purchased devices into AutoPilot, but we can only do so via CSP relationship. Currently, CSP can be DAP or non-DAP. (Full admin or not.) Even non-DAP, the CSP can see and touch things like billing and services, way outside the needs for uploading AutoPilot info.

We need Role-based Access Control RBAC for CSP relationships so we only grant what is needed, nothing more.

  9. Assign Intune device category through Autopilot

It would be great if we could assign Intune device category through Autopilot, without having to do it manually once the device is enrolled.

  10. Support for Federated Domains with Windows Autopilot

At present when using Windows Autopilot, a user on a federated domain is unable to sign in to complete the set up. However domains that aren't federated are supported. With this in mind, please can support be added for Federated domains within Windows Autopilot?

This feature would be incredibly useful in enterprise environements, where Hybrid Azure AD isn't an option.

  11. configuring windows hello autopilot

Need ability to disable Windows Hello requirement during enrollment via AutoPilot. Currently, this is available if using Intune. After working with support, they explained this capability is made available to 3rd party MDM's but they must have this capability baked into their solution. Since 3rd party MDM enrollment is not completed until after completed the OOBE setup, this will prove difficult for most MDM providers. This should be configurable in the Autopilot enrollment policy or configurable via Azure AD. This is currently preventing us from adopting Autopilot.

    Per support:

    Provider/ProviderID/FirstSyncStatus/ExpectedPolicies
Required. Added in Windows 10, version 1709. This…

  12. Support B2B/Guest identities within Intune and Autopilot

Add in support for using B2B/Guest accounts from another tenancy within Intune and also Autopilot. Currently, if I invite an identity from another tenacy and then take that identity through Autopilot, it fails with "Something went wrong. That username looks like it belongs to another organisation. Try signing in again or start again with a different account". I've read that Intune doesn't support B2B/Guest identities. Please support B2B/Guest identities for Intune and Autopilot.

    Thanks

  13. AutoPilot - Option to use SharedPC configuration service provider

Need the option when using AutoPilot to setup Windows 10 Shared PC mode using SharedPC configuration service provider. It's critical to use AutoPilot to bulk enroll devices as Shared PC's. This will eliminate the need to manually apply PC packages to each device for configuration. A Windows 10 PC in shared PC mode allows for computers to be management and maintenance-free with high reliability.

  14. Disable change account/local account creation in OOBE if device is Autopilot joined.

If devices is Autopilot joined, there should not be an option to choose local account. In an EDU deployment several students manages to choose this option and the enrolment fails.

Make OOBE more robust so autopilot dosent fail.

  15. Filter on Group Tag Windows Autopilot

I use Group Tags for automatically assigning multiple Windows Autopilot Profiles on HW Hash Upload - Currently I can filter on Model and Purchase Order, but I think it would be useful to filter on Group Tag also

  16. Allowing DEM support for Autopilot

Currently you are unable to use the DEM account with Autopilot devices. Annoyingly as a IT admin you don't want your own account as the user who enrolled the device into Intune. Currently the only way to enroll the device as a end user is to know their login credentials.

  18. Remove AutoPilot Reset Button from Login Screen

Lets give administrators the option to hide the AutoPilot Reset button from the login screen. Keeping the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+Windows Key+R and EndPoint Management Portal as reset methods. This will eliminate confusion from our end users.

  19. Allow individual assignment of Intune AutoPilot profiles for devices added from the Partner Portal

When I add devices for AutoPilot via the partner portal, the AutoPilot profiles that have been set up in Intune are not available for assignment. At the moment, it seems that, because Intune AutoPilot profiles are assigned via group, the profile doesn't get automatically assigned to new devices until after it has been enrolled (especially if using dynamic groups) which means that settings such as device name don't apply until the machine is rebuilt.

Please could we either have the ability to assign Intune AutoPilot profile when we import it into the partner portal,

    or

    Please could we be allowed…

  20. AutoPilot OOBE Enrollment separate language and region setting

Please allow separate language settings for Windows AutoPilot OOBE.
    One for display language,
    and one for region.

We have a multilingual company. Where we set OS-display-language to English US and Region settings to Dutch.
