We are also facing this issue and we are unable to get IE versions installed in the Devices. We wanted to know which version is currently used in devices sitewise. We are having many sites in Ms-Intune and we have more than 6000 plus devices enrolled to MS-Intune and planning to grow the number of devices.
If you could make it fast in making this option available in MS-Intune will really helpful.
how to pull report for software metering in Ms-intune? > if this can be added to the existing Detected report it will be fine.
Hi, can you get me a screen shot of what you’re seeing that isn’t matching up? Feel free to blur any sensitive data, but maybe circle what you think should be matching and isn’t.
Moving this to the ideas forum. It sounds like you want a completely web-based experience to upload software you are trying to publish. There were security issues with doing this in the Silverlight console. But if you can supply more information about what’s not working in corp domain laptops or desktops, that might fall into either “bug” or “support case”. If you’re blocked on being able to upload software I’d suggest opening a support case, since they will be able to either help you or determine it’s a bug.
Support is free for Intune! https://technet.microsoft.com/library/dn646963.aspx
I don’t think you’re doing anything wrong and I am positive it’s not a measure of intelligence. :-) I’ve had issues on my machine, but usually it’s because I’m dealing with different builds and environments.
I was told to run this
from an admin cmd prompt
rundll32 windir\system32\dfshim CleanOnlineAppCache
and it’s worked in the past for me.
If it doesn’t work for you, I’d suggest opening a support case. Did you know we don’t charge for Intune support? Really! Here’s the information:
Intune doesn't work on Google Chrome. As Chrome doesn't support any add-on like Silverlight and Java applets
