From my understanding you can now do this:
"MDM services can be used to publish App-V packages to clients running Windows 10, version 1703 (or later). All capabilities such as App-V enablement, configuration, and publishing can be completed using the EnterpriseAppVManagement CSP."
    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/client-management/mdm/appv-deploy-and-config
It would be good to know what success people have had with this

You can do this by setting an undocumented app-config policy for MHS.
We set the "Orientation" to '3' to allow the screen to auto-rotate. This was on the Huawei tablets.
Even so, I don't see why this isn't the default setting or more discoverable

Maybe you should combine these requests/votes https://microsoftintune.uservoice.com/forums/291681-ideas/suggestions/13069674-copy-files-to-mobile-devices
Either way, it would be great to know where this is on the backlog/roadmap

We need to force incognito mode in Edge so if a kiosk user logs into SharePoint or OWA the settings aren't remembered

Managed Browser is deprecated (AFAIK) and you should use Edge instead (which does have a home button)

Just seen this is apparently coming for the "Home" button in November 2018 (they've got 3 days left!)

    https://github.com/MicrosoftDocs/IntuneDocs/blob/master/intune/early-edition-nda.md#enable-virtual-home-button-on-android-enterprise-kiosk-devices--

Enable virtual home button on Android Enterprise kiosk devices
A new setting will allow users to tap a soft-key button on their device to switch between the Managed Home Screen app and other assigned apps on their multi-app kiosk device. This setting is particularly helpful in scenarios where a user's kiosk app does not respond appropriately to the "back" button. You'll be able to configure this setting for corporate-owned, single use Android devices. To enable or disable the Virtual home button, go to Intune in the Azure portal > Device configuration. Select a current device configuration profile or create a new one to edit its kiosk settings.

This is an essential part of using a web page in Android kiosk mode. The Edge browser UI is too intrusive and opens up access to features we don't want end-users to have

    https://github.com/MicrosoftDocs/IntuneDocs/blob/master/intune/early-edition-nda.md#set-custom-background-in-managed-home-screen-app--

Set custom background in Managed Home Screen app
We'll be adding a setting that lets you customize the background appearance of the Managed Home Screen app on Android Enterprise, multi-app, kiosk mode devices. To configure the Custom URL background, go to Intune in the Azure portal > Device configuration. Select a current device configuration profile or create a new one to edit its kiosk settings.

This would be really useful so we could brand our Android Enterprise tablets that run in Kiosk mode.

I have found that I can change the wallpaper if I remove the Managed Home Screen app and then after redeploying the app it sticks. However, ideally, we would be able to push an image or specify a URL to a hosted image

This has been resolved. I can create as many custom categories as I like

We have the exact same issue.
We want apps & policies to be deployed to enrolled phones immediately.
Currently, we go through a process of manually assigning a device to a group as the dynamic membership doesn't update quick enough
