If I understand this correctly we'll need a Device Owner in order to take advantage of Conditional Access.
Without Conditional Access the value proposition of extending traditional AD based Device Management to include Intune becomes a lot less for customers.
Please resolve ASAP.
Is it possible to get a comment from the moderator or the Product Team regarding this?
It is making so many different deployments impossible or un-viable for customers which is reducing how widely we can utilise Windows 10 + Intune
Confirmed that it is currently by design that conditional access allows only one identity per device at this time. We hear that you need this and we’re looking into it. I’ve changed the title and category to indicate that this is related to conditional access.
Again, this is just for multiple identities from the same company. If you’re looking for having one device with identities from two different companies for MDM, that idea is here:
And if you’re looking for having multiple identities for MAM, that idea is here: https://microsoftintune.uservoice.com/forums/291681/suggestions/34627435
@Cathy I'm not sure that this should be renamed to Push multiple email profiles.
Whilst that would be useful we are keen to see the support added as per the original request where users can manually add more than one email profile within a Managed Application... the typical C Level and Secretary scenarios.
This really is very important.
We have multiple examples of:
A user is an employee for multiple companies. Each company is relying on us to secure data with Intune. Employee has one company phone. Employee can only access data for the company they are enrolled with. The only way is to exclude them.
Annoyingly you can't even manage the device with Intune and use the Native Client whilst the other company is managed on Outlook. Intune takes control of the apps too.
You can deploy AirPrint settings for Mac and iOS – https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/intune/air-print-settings-ios-macos
You can configure some printer settings under device restrictions for Windows 10 – https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/intune/device-restrictions-windows-10
But I’m hearing from a few people that this still doesn’t really help users get to local printers, and that seems the original intent. (@Henrik, if you’re getting this, please weigh in!)
We won’t call this one complete. I’m switching this to “noted”, meaning we know you want it. Thanks again for the feedback!
I don't see how what is there can be used to deploy printer so I think the idea has to stay. Perhaps with a rename to Deploy Printer in Windows 10.
Android will need a separate idea.
An absolute must.. especially if you want us to start using the Microsoft Store more which I would also like to do.
Crucial and missing feature!
